Engines require redstone power to function. They also require 6(I think) EU per second, move the wire so the distance between the engine and the junction is the same. If it still isn't working increase the amount of power going to the engines.

That problem has been previously attributed to multiple instances of Java being active hogging the same port. Possible fix: Ctrl+shift+esc (Task manager shortcut) End each Java Process and then restart your server.

I don't check for server software updates very often, if I knew the frequency of updates I can check if there are any updates during the expected period of time.

Frequency takes into account how close together something happens, in this case updates. ETA is the expected time for one event to occur. I didn't word anything differently I am asking for the frequency of the updates.
