  1. But yeah, the launcher has been pushing the dev build onto some of my players, which is confusing. We've just told everyone not to upgrade until otherwise instructed. Amen, the RP2 computers have a -long- way to go before they're useful for mere mortals. You want CC - it is a staggeringly more friendly experience for the sort of thing people might actually want to do inside their Minecraft world. I don't want give myself a migraine trying to write railroad scheduling software in Forth... That said, both play nice together and both play nice with RP bundled cables.
  2. My experience with Energy Links says they can dump out WAY more juice than a simple Forestry electric engine. However, the thing to be wary of is that they don't automatically shut off if the conductive pipes stop drawing power. I did some tests with EL and BC Quarries. Provided a fiber connection to medium voltage, the EL drew about 72 EU/t - whether the quarry was plugged in or not. When plugged in to low voltage, it drew a full 32EU/t where possible.
