LogBlock/Hawkeye issues (Not the same idiot as before :/ )
pieiscool32 replied to YukiKitty's question in Tekkit Classic
Well i did disable enderchest, but that shouldn't be your problem, try reporting it to the creators of the plugin, because i didn't make the plugin, so I'm not sure of the problems with it, sorry. -
You sir, have a problem, a big one. can you do me a favor though? Can you please copy the log to a safe place then delete it and run the client ONCE then paste THAT to pasebin, because the launcher started like 10 times, and each one was different. Or you could be a real nice guy and move the WHOLE tekkit folder somewhere safe and put the log of THAT on pastebin. I just want to see what it does only on one fresh cycle, but play as usual or wait till the final error shows up, because it tries to debug, but stoping it in the middle of that might cause corruption.

Ya, it is a "bug" some people have been having problems with that, i just say, "who cares, spam the mouse for a few seconds, problem?" and this is a thing, http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,2797.0.html

I would recommend getting the latest java as well as maby manually setting the ram, now i'm on a mac, so i can't help you much there. But i can say this, go into the windows icon thing and type: %appdata% now note the folder might be hidden, so you might need to un-hide the folder. After that go into the "Techniclauncher" folder and open the "launcher.properties" and set the "memory" field to the desired amount. That should over-ride everything and force it to load with more, but if you are still having problems then go ahead and get the latest java version for your computer.

No problem, also i would recommend dynmap, a cool tool. (hehe, that rhymed) But seriously, it is a cool plugin where a live map is available to view over the internet, you can chat into the game using it, also you can see what people say and can see a "thermal" image of the world, as well as a 3d like map, you can get it here: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/dynmap/ -
[Solved] Dropped Items/Blocks are Invisible (Solution: Remove Tekkit folder)
pieiscool32 replied to Xaymar's question in Tekkit Classic
Re: Dropped Items/Blocks are Invisible I have had this problem before, it only occurs for me when i die. But otherwise it is a graphical error from minecraft, i would look into a bukkit error, but this type of problem is new. Check some other forums or use google, remember, google is your friend. http://www.google.com/ -

you could use IZONE, it is good and i have had no problems with it, here is the link: http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/admn-sec-izone-v7-3-zone-protection-system-new-child-parent-system-new-flag-gamemode-1-2-3.54721/ In my using of IZONE i had no problems and works just fine with tekkit. Try it out, you can also set a whitelist for zones and set "flags" for zones. -
[2.1.1] redstone bundle not working (computercraft)
pieiscool32 replied to SmileyJeff's question in Tekkit Classic
well the prefix ([2]) didn't work for me either, nor did the "ARedpower..." because linux does not load mods in alphabetical order like windows or mac does. so there is no "true" fix as far as i know. Although i have been talking to some people on the CC forum and they are trying to see what they can do, i'll post a working fix for linux when i get to test a fix on my server and it works. But until then just code a program using redpower but it won't work until i find a fix. NOTE: THE FIX MIGHT REQUIRE SOME CODING KNOWLEDGE, OR NOT. I DON'T KNOW YET. -
[2.1.1] redstone bundle not working (computercraft)
pieiscool32 replied to SmileyJeff's question in Tekkit Classic
i have the same problem, the basic redstone lights up just fine, as well as rednet, but the second i try bundled cable, nothing. Does anyone have a fix because i need to use bundled cables for automation of my base. Also on the computer craft forums there is nothing on this topic. -
Well with local host i seem to be able to play without any problems, and also remote host, but it's only my friend computer/account. I looked on bukkit forums and people say there is no fix >:(

tekkit V.2.1 on server and 2.1 on launcher server:Ubuntu server 11.04 Computer:Mac OSX latest java version When my friend tries to join the server from a remote location it gives me the error sttated below. When I try to join from inside the network of the server I have no problems. What did/didn't I do? UPDATE: my friend just told me that when he joins nothing renders, but for me it's fine, and he also said that it's only at certain areas, when he comes near me the problem goes away and it renders properly [searay93 [/*:50392] logged in with entity id 138 at ([LivoniaLocal] 491.30000001192093, 71.24880380545427, -5.283142693565537) 2012-03-06 07:48:23 [iNFO] <[31m*Console[37m> searay93 has just joined for the first time.[0m 2012-03-06 07:48:23 [iNFO] <[31m*Console[37m> 2 unique players have visited this server.[0m 2012-03-06 07:48:23 [iNFO] [CONSOLE->searay93] Hey there, searay93! 2012-03-06 07:48:23 [iNFO] [CONSOLE->searay93] Welcome to Livonia Local's Minecraft Server 2012-03-06 07:48:24 [iNFO] searay93 joined with mod_ModLoaderMp 2012-03-06 07:48:24 [FINE] searay93 joined with mod_ModLoaderMp 2012-03-06 07:48:24 [iNFO] searay93 joined with mod_ModLoaderMp 2012-03-06 07:48:25 [sEVERE] java.net.SocketException: Socket closed 2012-03-06 07:48:25 [sEVERE] at java.net.SocketOutputStream.socketWrite(SocketOutputStream.java:116) 2012-03-06 07:48:25 [sEVERE] at java.net.SocketOutputStream.write(SocketOutputStream.java:153) 2012-03-06 07:48:25 [sEVERE] at java.io.BufferedOutputStream.flushBuffer(BufferedOutputStream.java:82) 2012-03-06 07:48:25 [sEVERE] at java.io.BufferedOutputStream.flush(BufferedOutputStream.java:140) 2012-03-06 07:48:25 [sEVERE] at java.io.DataOutputStream.flush(DataOutputStream.java:123) 2012-03-06 07:48:25 [sEVERE] at net.minecraft.server.NetworkWriterThread.run(SourceFile:103) 2012-03-06 07:48:25 [iNFO] Connection reset 2012-03-06 07:48:25 [iNFO] searay93 lost connection: disconnect.overflow /code]

Tekkit on McMyAdmin on a ubuntu server?
pieiscool32 replied to pieiscool32's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Ya, I managed to got it working on my server, only had to backdate the server map for other reasons. It works just fine, but it does use quite a bit of ram, and you have to make sure that the server is running off the craftbukkit.jar not the minecraft_server.jar. to do that, install bukkit in the about page. Than it will automatically run off the craftbukkit.jar, just make sure to rename the tekkit.jar to craftbukkit.jar. -

Block id error when launching server in linux (Slot 241) -with workaround-
pieiscool32 replied to tabbek's question in Tekkit Classic
Well a simple disable of the enderchest got my server to work, but now I have another problem, http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,2123.0.html -
When using my 1.1.4 world in the new 2.0 server I got a LONG string of errors, for the errors please click here: http://pastebin.com/VRHR172E That's just a small chunk of the error code. Ok, when on the server tons of items were either missing or changed. We put tons of work on the server and we don't want to start over. I converted the world using the world converter and no errors came up, but when starting the server with the world it kept spamming me errors about trying to place items and can't. Can anyone help? NOTE:Only the items post-tekkit was corrupted, everything we built before we got tekkit is ok, but everything after is gone/corrupted. (which is a lot of stuff btw)(and by corrupted I mean the original item was replaced by a vanilla block. i.e. concrete was changed to stone brick, nuke reactor to leaves,etc,etc...) Update: Ok, now that I found out that the world is gone no matter what I do, but now the server keeps disconnecting me and saying something about a bad packet error, and the console says EndOfStream. My friend just told me that when he tried to join the world loads a little bit than the launcher stalls and than he gets a white screen, And the server's ram and cpu spike for a little than it calms down and levels out. Any answers as to why? UPDATE: the server keeps lashing out the error codes and kicks players that breaks blocks that are changing USING VANILLA MAP: We are using our vanilla map backup and my friend and I are having problems with our inventory, when I click an item in the inventory the server kicks us. When using the trash thing in NEI nothing happens when I click on an item. The console has no errors or problems, it just says player kicked.

Block id error when launching server in linux (Slot 241) -with workaround-

Block id error when launching server in linux (Slot 241) -with workaround-
pieiscool32 replied to tabbek's question in Tekkit Classic
Your lucky that you can boot up the server, mine just keep crashing, the server is set with a 5 try debugging thing, and even after that it just stalls and I have to manually quit the program. You know what's ironic to me? I WANTED a linux server, now we are having tons of problems with linux.... WHY!?!?! :'( -
Ya, my bad, They still have recipe manager but I'm not sure how it woks, does someone know how to use the plugin? Also how do I do it with only data values?

Block id error when launching server in linux (Slot 241) -with workaround-
pieiscool32 replied to tabbek's question in Tekkit Classic
If you check out the link in my last post I have all the specs there. I go into the enderchest config and change 241 to 178, than I go and start the server, than it crashes saying that block 241 is a problem, go to check the file and it has changed! NOTE: yes I did double check to see it was saved properly, both not he physical server and WINSCP, than started the server and got the error EDIT: yes, I do see it in the ls directory, all the configs that you see but I have a total of 196 not 84, but I did move some goings into the config folder.... -
So, I have a "problem" with tekkit and the new mods, Is it possible for me to make things uncraftable but the ops can still get it from NEI? (such as the alchemical bags from EE or certain rings that are overpowered for the regular users) I know that you can make the items not be available from the config but than I can't get it from NEI, is there a plugin for this or something that I looked past?

Block id error when launching server in linux (Slot 241) -with workaround-
pieiscool32 replied to tabbek's question in Tekkit Classic
Well, I just tried your "quick fix" as I call it, and the block ID magically changes it back to 241, and I got very angry and don't know what to do, also, the wifiredstone error occurred for me too. check out my post to see the error report here: http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,1891.msg11499.html#msg11499 Update: when I disabled ender chest I got this error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 176 is already occupied by ee.BlockEEPedestal@73c622ec when adding buildcraft.transport.LegacyBlock@551eef55 at net.minecraft.server.Block.<init>(Block.java:175) at net.minecraft.server.BlockContainer.<init>(BlockContainer.java:12) at buildcraft.transport.LegacyBlock.<init>(LegacyBlock.java:14) at net.minecraft.server.BuildCraftTransport.initialize(BuildCraftTransport.java:130) at net.minecraft.server.mod_BuildCraftTransport.ModsLoaded(mod_BuildCraftTransport.java:14) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.init(ModLoader.java:706) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.Init(ModLoader.java:1357) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.init(MinecraftServer.java:102) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:411) at net.minecraft.server.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:465) 2012-02-24 16:39:12 [sEVERE] Unexpected exception java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 176 is already occupied by ee.BlockEEPedestal@73c622ec when adding buildcraft.transport.LegacyBlock@551eef55 at net.minecraft.server.Block.<init>(Block.java:175) at net.minecraft.server.BlockContainer.<init>(BlockContainer.java:12) at buildcraft.transport.LegacyBlock.<init>(LegacyBlock.java:14) at net.minecraft.server.BuildCraftTransport.initialize(BuildCraftTransport.java:130) at net.minecraft.server.mod_BuildCraftTransport.ModsLoaded(mod_BuildCraftTransport.java:14) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.init(ModLoader.java:706) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.Init(ModLoader.java:1357) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.init(MinecraftServer.java:102) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:411) at net.minecraft.server.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:465) 2012-02-24 16:39:12 [sEVERE] Unexpected exception java.lang.RuntimeException: ModLoader has failed to initialize. at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.ThrowException(ModLoader.java:1292) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.init(ModLoader.java:715) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.Init(ModLoader.java:1357) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.init(MinecraftServer.java:102) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:411) at net.minecraft.server.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:465) Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 176 is already occupied by ee.BlockEEPedestal@73c622ec when adding buildcraft.transport.LegacyBlock@551eef55 at net.minecraft.server.Block.<init>(Block.java:175) at net.minecraft.server.BlockContainer.<init>(BlockContainer.java:12) at buildcraft.transport.LegacyBlock.<init>(LegacyBlock.java:14) at net.minecraft.server.BuildCraftTransport.initialize(BuildCraftTransport.java:130) at net.minecraft.server.mod_BuildCraftTransport.ModsLoaded(mod_BuildCraftTransport.java:14) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.init(ModLoader.java:706) ... 4 more And also I had problems with wireless redstone, what is this joke. -
Thank you! You guys put in so much info I'm having trouble picking the system I want. Now let me put in some info about what I am thinking of doing. I want to stick to Onlive for the moment because it is fairly cheap and I can use it on-the-go off my tab. Right now I don't want to buy a gaming console because of the fact that my TV is not the best and I want to wait to upgrade after seeing what is coming from CES. Also my neighbors and friends both have different gaming systems and I tried them out and still don't know what to buy. I also heard that Kinect for XBOX is getting an upgrade, so well see about that, one of the reasons I don't want to buy a dedicated gaming system. I am looking into steam but after using it on my dell I don't feel the need for it, Onlive is just about the same thing except I don't have to download the game. PS3 is becoming out-of-the-question, because the games on it is not what I was expecting and most of my friends have an XBOX, so we'll see about the XBOX. One more thing that I heard was that Onlive was going to get a place on the XBOX somewhere, it is only a rumor but I think it will be a deal-breaker if Onlive comes with XBOX, that will be neat. So for now I am sticking with onlive for a few reasons. Thanks for the input, more would be nice, but for now I made up my mind about this, thanks to all of you who posted and let me get other opinions form people that are "pros" at gaming and computers.

Re: Music and Minecraft I love to listen to the radio, it keeps me calm and I get to learn things from Romania, (i'm Romanian) I love to listen to PRO FM, a romanian radio satiation but they play lots of songs in english, my favorites are: -Bailamos by Enrique Iglesias -Hey Mama By CRBL -suavemente the Pitbul remix/edition -Danza Kudoro by Don Omar -Seat by snoopdawg -And most top 40 pop music, most are in a foreign language, but still good music. Also you can check PRO FM out here: http://www.profm.ro/ PRO FM, Legalized JOY!
