  1. I think the weather mod does something similiar as well with its wind feature. It's why when you accidentally do a block update on one of the willow tree leaf blocks, you suddenly have a very sad and bald looking willow.
  2. You may want to disable some of the weather mod features. I disabled the wind and that helped me. In your game just type /config and it's on page 5 or 6 I think. You just have to change the statement to false for wind_active. Be sure to save the change before switching to a different page or exiting the config gui.
  3. This has happened to me too. When your in your world go to your inventory and then select the options menu for NEI on the bottom left. Select Inventory and try to see if your screen matches the picture below. If its still not working, go back into the same Inventory menu and now click the global button at the top right hand. Make sure none of the "w" boxes are highlighted. If one is, right click to deselect it. If that isn't working, you can try to use utility mode. When using utlity mode, you have to make sure the right "utility" is highlighted in order for it to work. Hopefully this can help you out.
  4. The cinnabar method works wonderfully. I have so much enderium now I don't know what to do with it. I also suggest using it with tin when you start working on galacticraft stuff. It was a problem I had that I had loads of everything but, even though I thought it was quite a bit, I ran out of tin. Using cinnabar with the ore gets you 3 ingots per 1 ore.
  5. It's called a crescent hammer. You shift right click with it. Works on Minefactory machines as well.
  6. I've done several different things as well, but not what AcesOyster is suggesting. I'll have to try that out. I've rigged up a charging station using a planter, harvester, aqueous accumulator and powered furnace to power steam dynamos. I use the planter to replant trees (preferably not oak as you have to set up a place to route the apples) and the harvest obviously cuts the down when grown. Using pipes from thermal expansion I route all of the saplings back into the planter and the logs to the powered furnace to be smelted into charcoal, which then is routed to the dynamo. The aqueous accumulator is used to supply endless water to the dynamo. One steam dynamo powered all of the machines as well as charged a couple of hardened energy cells. I also have created an infinite bone meal source by using a pulverizor and cyclic assembler and white wool. The bone meal can be used in bioreactor to create biofuel for the biofuel generator. You could aslo set up a skeleton grinder and use the bones from that as well, but I wanted something more compact and less noisy.
  7. It's the weather mod. You can configure it either directly through the config files or during gameplay by typing in /config and going to page 5.
  8. You could also hover your mouse over the item and hit "R" for the crafting recipe or "U" to see what recipes it's used in.
  9. Yup, you need 1 Ferrous and 2 Iron to create 3 Invar. I suggest putting everything through the Pulverizor (Thermal Expansion) to create dust. By doing so you get 2 Iron dust per ore. Each dust can be smelted into 1 ingot.
  10. It's all through the config file. Just open it up and scroll down until you come to this part: # Will you insta-morph into a new morph acquired? # 0 = No # 1 = Yes I:instaMorph=1 Just change the 1 into a 0. Keep in mind that every update re-sets this back to default, so you will need to re-do this after every update.
  11. I was wondering about them. You can catch them in safarit nets too. I plan on trying them out with minefactory's autospawner since enderman seem to be pretty rare. They also appear even when the world is set to peaceful, both the dancing enderman (seriously, watch it walk) and the disco zombie (watch it's head move around). Btw, those aren't official names, it's just what I've been calling them. Edit: Yup, it's the Darwin mod. Should be interesting to mess around with
  12. I figured it out. It's the armour gui (not sure of the mod though). The only way I found it was to see all of the keybinds instead of changing them seperately based on the mod. Even the conflict choice didn't show it. Or if it did I just missed it.
  13. Which mod (other than Galacticraft) has the additional inventory gui? It's the one that opens when you hit 'V' while playing. I'm trying to change the keybind to something else since I prefer using 'V' as my crouch button. As you can imagine it's causing some frustration on my part.
  14. Unfortunately you won't be able to as Tinkers Construct doesn't support Optifine. I also play on a laptop so I know what your dealing with. If your system can support it, you may need to allocate more memory to the game.
