Download/launcher-site was fixed last night like half an hour after my comment! XD

Phew, yeah me too man. Was so looking forward to some gameplay. So much inspiration! Oh well.

I totally misunderstood you then, I thought you meant cracked MC-accounts, but this seems to be a crackdown on crached launchers (what an odd thing to crack anyway). <3 Well this isn't your nor your servers' fault so it would be very silly and short-sighted of your users to be angry at you/the server for this. Hopefully they can enjoy some time outside of Minecraft for a short while.

Are you sure you're not trollong now? That last part just doesn't sound true (although I could just be misunderstanding you). ;-)

It would help if you could provide an error-log.

Yeah, seems to be an issue going on right now. All the current (top-10) threads are about this. "Don't Panic" and the Technic-team will surely have it resolved asap. Enjoy V-Day!

Afraid you have to wait for the Tecnhic-team to look into and resolve the issue that is going on right now. There's no download available and the server (possibly) issue is also preventing the launcher from starting properly. Could be something as simple as a DDoS attach since the URL sometimes works, but mostly doens't.

There seems to be some issues going on. I guess we all just gotta stay patient until the Technic-team figures it out and can fix it. Happy V-day at least!

The launcher site is down. You couldn't start it even if you had it (according to other forum members and myself) so stay patient until the Technic-team fixes it. Enjoy V-day!

I'm experiencing the same symptoms (Windows): - Previously downloaded launcher doesn't load: --- Splash screen appears in unelevated launch (no "Run as Administrator") but disappears quickly after and removes itself from running processes --- Splash screen stays in elevated launch, but no "loading" happens - Dead URL; URL for launcher download is invalid (all versions). Gives me an instant "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading."The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." Heheh. Will do. ;-) I just hope they too get to enjoy more of Val-day and not have to truobleshoot this silly issue.
