    So how do I fix the lag spikes?

    I just downloaded Hexxit on my computer. I played it for a few minutes so I can see if it runs smoothly. It runs smoothly for a while then it has random lag spikes. I have 4.00 GB (I'm hoping to get 8.00GB soon) 64-bit Operating System Intel Core i5 This does not occur on vanilla Minecraft. Thanks in advance.
