  1. Jeb made a post about the new snapshot. Its Ready for testing. Here are a couple pictures I took with a fresh install of minecraft 12w07b with no texture pack or mods. Wonder how these will look once people start making texture packs for it. Click on the pics
  2. If that was the case EVERYONE would be bitching about technic pack making games lag. I think he is moving around to quick from one chunk to another before the chunks load up fully. Its hard to know what exactly the problem is if he did not give any info other than "All my optifine options are set at the fastest" (PC specs Mods on off etc.)
  3. LMAO @ the thought of Judge "Creeper" Judy in Minecraft court.
  4. you talking ethics or ethnics?? 1 letter changes the whole subject lol.
  5. Go get a prepaid credit card... thats how I got my MC.
  6. Can we get this link removed or this whole post removed?
  7. Nope not gonna happen... Kakermix already stated that this is how it will be from here on out. Reason is that the launcher allows the Team to update the Pack without any effort on the part of the player. Other then signing in of course.
  8. You would be suprised @ how many files were left behind by Norton. Personally I like Eset Nod32. You know what I find funny I always see that dang Norton 360 advertisement over on the right side bar.
  9. Re: Common Problems (And their solutions) Ummm you need 2 gb to run the launcher? I don't think so. I am on a P.O.S. p4 3.0ghz with only 1.5gb of ram LOL. I play minecraft with no problems @ all. Moving files around after the launcher does its job is not a good idea. It may look odd to you but the launcher put the files there for a reason. Try turning mods on/off in the modloader.cfg instead of moving stuff around.
  10. The only thing I can think of is your system doesn't know how to handle .cfg files... you need to assign what text editor your system should use to open .cfg files. I use XP so this is what I do. 1.) I would have to right click the .cfg file and select *Open with..*. A menu pops up showing available programs to use. 2.) I select *Notepad* 3.) Select the *Always use the selected program to open this kind of file.* Option box.
  11. For me I initially turn off Millenaire. You can try that to see if it helps. Find the location of the ModLoader.cfg and change mod_Millenaire=on to mod_Millenaire=off this helped me in the past with any large lag spikes. Keep in mind that if you are running around a new map you will get some lag. After a while it should settle down. oh yea my location for the ModLoader.cfg is C:\Documents and Settings\Cryptic\Application Data\.techniclauncher\technicssp\config
  12. Well normally you would be able to install on one and copy to another but this is not the case with v6. I thought that I would be able to edit my custom .bat file I had for v5.05 launcher but nope. Would have to wait until spout address the issue like Rupertcow stated.
  13. I laughed when I seen "A reach-around" lol.. anyhow great job guys keep it up. Will test out some other older mods that aren't very popular to see if I can break minecraft now :P
  14. Perfect install here.... love the mod select button. Able to turn individual mods on and off without having to go to the folder is a big plus.
  15. Thanks ....Thanks a lot I just got the F*** slapped out of me by my girlfriend. Scared the crap out of her when I laughed @ that pic. :P
