      I host my server from home. If that is not an option for you, other users have recommended Apex as a good host.

    hello i have just installed a mod called mat's mega techpack pack here it is http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/mats-techpack-1710.450813

    i installed and there were no problem then when i was loading pack at white mojang screen it crashed 5-7 while initilizing mod stage 3 i know yopu can help me and thanks for now i seek your answer soon

    Hey! I just wanted to let you know of a small problem. Whenever I tried to do what you said, change the Static IPV4 etc... I don't know if this is the problem, but the Local Area Connection, the one I was trying to change, has a red X on it. I can still connect to the internet via Wireless Connection, but the LAC has a red X on it. Could this be why the IPV4 wasn't changing in ipconfig?

      set it back to DHCP and post what IP it is pulling.

      Do you use a wired or wireless connection on that PC? If its wireless, you need to make the changes on that connection instead.

    I saw your comment on my crashing post, and if im right that i should be changing the GB in the java settings, there is no 3GB choice, only 768MB and 512MB, with 1GB being the highest

      Get 64 bit Java, then you can choose to allocate more ram.

    Waiting for a 10k x 10k world to pre-generate. How many days....

      Two days. It died a few times, had to re-start it, but it picked up where it left off. Having a pre-gen map really does make quite a difference though, it is MUCH faster to explore.

    Hey dude, I need help man. Basically im trying to make tekkit legends server, i have done the start.command and chmod etc. however when i launch my start.command, this comes up.
