  1. I would be okay with a reset. I didn't have much to begin with really, and the world just seemed kinda stale from the beginning for me. Maybe not so much for everyone else, but I just couldn't seem to progress technologically in any way. Shame that everyone else has to lose their progress, though, if it does reset.
  2. Thanks Curunir. I'll probably downsize my reactor to something a lot more reasonable to power the few turbines I can make, probably four. I might downsize the turbines as well, and use the spare bits to build a few more.
  3. When you log on, do you slowly fall through the world down into the void, only to have it crash when you reach like Y: 30? If so, that's what's been happening to me the last couple of times. I really hope M1 can fix this, I like how the server's going so far.
  4. So after spending some time running my reactor and gathering a few stacks of cyanite, I've decided to move onto building some turbines. Using the exact same reactor setup, I built the reactor again on a creative world and one 7x7x9 turbine (to prevent confusion, it's 7 blocks wide, 7 blocks tall, and 9 blocks long) using two rings of gold blocks for the turbine coil. I set my control rods to 90%, yet the heat of the reactor (both core and casing) were at about 3100 C. I know one turbine probably not going to even cover all the steam the reactor produces (currently, it's running off of one
  5. Yeah, that was probably me. I logged in and am still stuck. I didn't fall through the ground this time though, I managed to stay on the single loaded chunk (everything else around me wasn't loaded) until the server crashed. Edit: Alright. I'll also try to avoid going down south from my base, that seems to be a problem area.
  6. It did work, and I ended up back at spawn. I managed to play around for about half an hour, and all was well. However, I traveled south from my base (there's a forested area to the south of it) and lo and behold I started the cycle all over again, with the falling and server-crashing (again...ugh.) Could you delete my player data again, and check if there's a corrupted chunk or something there? Sorry for causing all this mess.
  7. Alright, so I'm going to write down every item I currently have in my inventory, and along the way may cause a server crash or two. Sorry everyone! M1, if nothing else works, could you try deleting my player data for the server? That may end up putting me at the spawn of the world and getting me out of the chunk error. Edit: Managed to write done contents of inventory, although I have not written down the contents of my alchemy bag.
  8. Hey M1, I have a small problem. I fell into a chunk error while testing out the sprint boost on my Power Suit. It crashed the server client-side on me, and now every time I reconnect I am stuck falling in the same chunk error, and keep crashing after about four seconds. I do have to restart the client every single time to be able to reconnect to the server as well. Do you know of any way to fix that? I've tried /spawn and /home but neither command manages to go through before I crash.
  9. Hey M1, my friend is getting a message saying he's not whitelisted on the server. I know you said you've whitelisted him, but could you try again? Again, his IGN is Major_Creepist.
  10. Hey M1, could you add my friend Major_Creepist? He'd like to join and team up with me.
  11. So I recently got back into Tekkit after a long hiatus from Minecraft in general. I've been messing around with the Big Reactors mod as my main power source and upgraded from a 5x5x5 reactor to a larger 11x11x6 one. It has 144 fuel rods in four towers of 3x3x4 with a one block gap between each fuel rod tower and the reactor walls. I've also filled every available empty space with Gelid Cryotheum. Currently, this is the readout I'm getting from the GUI. The casing heat fluctuates from 2045-2050 C, and the core heat fluctuates from 2110-2120 C. I've heard that the optimal temperatur
  12. I did reply in the last thread, although I'll do it again here just to be sure. I'm interested in seeing what the server is like. In my own experiences I find that smaller servers tend to be friendlier and more fun- getting to know your fellow players and working together with them is, in my opinion, much better than being one among one hundred on large servers. I'm hoping that this server is good, and from what I've read so far it seems to be. My IGN is Tohejam.
  13. Seeing as nobody else has yet, I might as well be the first one to apply. I'm interested in seeing what the server is like. 14. Name: Tim Username: Tohejam Age: 17 Reasons: I mainly play Tekkit because vanilla Minecraft has grown quite stale, and mods make it just that much more fun to play. I like figuring out how several mods can work together to form something greater than any of them could be alone. I've been playing since Tekkit Classic came out, so I do have experience with many of the main mods found in the packs (Tinker's, MFR, TE, etc.) I do prefer smaller servers, as I find them to have friendlier atmospheres and getting to know your fellow players makes Minecraft a lot more fun.
