Server has just started up, so there is still lots of land left to claim for a base. We are looking for more people to join our server. Gregtech is mostly in easy mode.

Looking to join a small server as single player is getting boring, and I am tired of dealing with people on large multiplayer servers. I will be most likely to be able to play after 8 PM EST. I can play before that, but I can't guarantee anything before that. I would prefer EE to be disabled, or at least no energy collectors/relays, but it is not a requirement.

I would recommend what xylord said especially regarding explosives. I would also recommend disabling energy collectors and energy condensers, as they allow players to enter creative mode lite within a day or two of joining a server, which would wreck any attempt at an economy for a server. Mass Fabricators can also be used to spawn matter, but it can't make everything, and requires a lot of EU to make anything, so its somewhat balanced. "upgrading" from jre-7u5 to jre-7u4 fixed my problem

I don't have that problem in other applications. I can download from steam at 100KB/s with no problem. just for the heck of it I installed tekkit in my ubuntu vm, and it maxes out my connection with little lag, however my performance is much lower.

Title: Tekkit only uses portion of internet Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4 OS: Windows 7 x64 Java Version: Java 7 x64 Description of Problem: When I first started using tekkit everything was fine. After about a week it became laggy. I looked at tekkit/java in process explorer and saw that it was only using 25 KB/s out of 100KB/s at best. Other applications don't have this problem. I am also getting 100+ fps, so its not a resource problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled java and tekkit multiple times with no fix. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
