  1. if you used heathunters idea, you could use storage buses to apportion 2 of the certain sapling to reach of the planters. Although quantum bridges are annoying, considering the large amount of resources necessary, and the singularities needed. Your solution seems to be working fine though, so I wouldn't change it.
  2. Sorry for gravedigging a little bit, but I can't get the liquid manager setup to work on the latest build of tekkit. The liquid goes in, but doesn't come out. The only way I've found to extract it is to use build craft pipes and engines.
  3. Nope! I tested it while I was hunting for a new place for a base, and the limit did not apply. I was well over 2000 blocks away, and I could still order and retrieve items.
  4. Finally got the dance to try the system out silmenume. It works, tanks so much for the system, the only thing you got wrong that I discovered is that the pipes have to be connected to an ME Interface, not an ME Drive.
  5. I just built a small mob grinder, consisting of a 5x5 space of cursed earth, and a grinder, and is been producing mob essence like mad! It filled a tank 20 blocks high, and 12 liquid managers, and the pipes are still full! How to you guys deal with such massive amount of liquid?
  6. @Silmenume Thanks for the reply, that infinite/2000 block range seul looks good enough for me. And don't worry about the diamonds needed, as I have a 64x64 quarry and about a stack of diamonds. Also thanks bochen, although I think I'll use the former suggestion, it looks a bit cheaper to make, and let's me order anything I want.
  7. My setup probably won't be worth sharing, I'm not all that advanced, but one weight saving tip is to not install batteries. If you keep an energy cell of any kind in your inventory, the power suit will drain from that. A redstone/resonant cell should be able to easily power an advanced setup, plus it doesn't weigh anything!
  8. 1. Is there a way to boost the wireless access point range beyond 32-64 blocks, maybe a wireless range extender? Currently, with the wireless access terminal and wireless access point, the signal fades halfway across my base, which is quite small. The only way I can think of is to wire up multiple access points, but ideally, I'd like it to be wireless. 2. Is there any sort of way to be able to access my me network from anywhere (I know that stretching it a bit)? I'm aware of the quantum field ring stuff, but thats a bit too limited/expensive for me. Thanks in advance
  9. I'm in the middle of building an auto-crafting me network. All is going well, but I can see my ME interface(s) easily filling up with patterns. Is there any way to increase their storage, or do I have to make another furnace, with another interface, export and import buses?
  10. Thanks guys for the quick responses. So i guess it is the wiki that is wrong. Sucks, the wiki recipes are quite a lot easier to make.
  11. As I have started to get into more advanced mods, I have noticed that some mods recipes are different in game than in the wiki. For example, in dimensional doors, in game, I need a stable fabric to make a rift signature, whereas in the wiki, it says I need an ender pearl. Same with with galacticraft. For example, the nasa workbench requires wafers, end compressed metals in-game, but the technic wiki says it should require only some alloy ingots and a crafting table. Could anyone tell me why this might be? Am I playing on an outdated version somehow, or is the wiki outdated?
  12. In my single player world, I'm about early-mid game (red stone conduits/storage, and starting to use reactors) and quite new to tekkit, and I have some questions about how near-end game players play. 1. How do you efficiently and quickly get ender pearls? Or do you just use A philosophers stone? 2. Other than a mining laser/precharger, what is the point in having a 20k + rf/t reactor and tons of resonant energy cells? Do big manufactories use that much power? 3. Based on previous question, do you have big factories creating/pulverizing/smelting items? If so, how to you get a consistent input of materials? Do multiple quarries do the job? 4. How do you get shiny metal efficiently? Platinum is rare in the nether, and the 10% chance from pulverizing ferrous ore is annoying. Is there any way to make it more efficiently? 5. Any easy way to quarry in The nether? So annoying constantly watching it to eliminate lava. 6. And last, but not least, could you give me any tips on what I should be doing at this stage? What mods to be using? I am currently using thermal expansion ( red stone components, magmatic dynamos and a small reactor, various machines), modular power suits (low-mid), buildcraft (engines, pipes, quarry), and probably more that I can't think of atm. Thanks!
