Sadly I am not sure, this problem was solved for me when I tried that, but this may work on a case by case basis, I used the same java, but it is probable that you have a different problem than me. This is probably because of that my problem was a java version problem. A mod will hopefully take a look at this and be able to help you out.

Hey cj12345, do you have java 7? I have had a problem with installing modpacks, and what I found is that if you are not running java 7, delete your java from your hard drive completely, then install java 7, i tried that and it seemed to work.

Ok, I have had a problem like this before, and here is my suggestion, if you have any other java than 7, delete that java completely from your computer, then install java 7, I had a problem like this, and hopefully this should fix the problem.
