  1. My server host offers 1388 as of today when I checked. I stay on the fence about it because I am currently using forge 1395 and its really smooth despite having a large number of mods. Since the liquid fix and whatnot, I personally want to wait it out a little more because major technology mods are still adapting to the new forge the best they can. I have never mixed and matched diff forge versions with cauldron. I know that there is forge and there is cauldron. Cauldron includes plugin and mod support. Cauldron is server only. In the past, I always had the falling through the world issues with attack of the b team. Since then, I just deal with mods for forge server after an unofficial of cauldron version did not work well with the custom 1.7.10 pack I put together. The forge only did work fine, so that's what I am sticking with atm. I would love to return to cauldron server, but it is just not stable enough for my taste. If you got something working fine, you may want to stick with it in my opinion.
  2. What version are you trying to play? Do you have java 7 x64 bit? Generally, that version of java will let you play any mod pack. http://www.java.com/en/download/manual_java7.jsp Also, 3 gigs of ram should be plenty to play most mod packs. I'd also recommend a good o defrag and clean up your corrupted files if you download mod packs often, not to fix the problem but to keep your pc running smoother. Good luck.
  3. Delete the coremods folder....if you want to know what happened to them, try looking for them in the mods folder --> then 1.7.10 folder in that folder...you will notice ta da there they are!
  4. I would recommend copying the mods folder and modpack.jar and saving it to another location on your pc. Try a clean reinstall to see if that works. You may want to re upload your pack for a new link if its been awhile. If all that fails, you could check your java or forge version. Good luck.
  5. On forge they need to be opped to use the tp option. If you are using essentials plugin on cauldron or bukkit, its a no go unless someone else has figured out how essentials blocks it. This was frustrating for me one time or another.
  6. There's a really need website called MCF Mod List...you can select minecraft version and see a fairly up to date list of mods available for such as 1.7.10. It is neat because it will tell you what it requires to have the mod installed. Here ya go: Modlist MCF Version 1.7.10
