I have found a fix, uninstall Java, then reinstall Java from here. http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre7-downloads-1880261.html This is Java 7, get the x64 if you can and it might fix it.

I have this issue, I am not sure how to fix it.

I have been experiencing a bug where I can't open the launcher at all, there is no error message, nothing.
