    Proof.

I personally love my Asus G74. Got a free upgrade to 16gb ram from the 12gb standard package they had where I ordered it. I recommend it as a good laptop for just about anything with a 560ti-M gpu. Only downside is it's a mobile gpu and it uses proprietary drivers from ASUS. So being able to play beta's and what not might not work so easily specially when they are using beta drivers. I had that issue with BF3. Yet somehow I was still able to get it going. Don't get the 3D model, waste of money that could be spent toward a better gpu in it. As for the cooling, I know mine doesn't have an issue at all with heat. the 74 and 75 have pretty damn good cooling stock. Sadly there's no compatible docking station yet unless you build your own. I don't see the need in a cooling pad for the 74 cause its cool enough as is. 6 hours of playing some high end graphics games and was still cool to the touch!
  2. Yeah I'm trying to find a way to remove a transmutation tablet. Haven't seen anything as of yet. Anyone know a way to stop them other than using world editing to stop the placement?
  3. Okay, even though NEI won't show the recipe for laminated (high speed) rails any more. You can craft them with 3 iron ingots down the left side, and 3 gold ingots down the right side.
  4. Well I'm looking into NEI and trying to figure out how I'm supposed to craft a "laminated rail" in the rolling machine. 3 steel, 3 blaze powder, 3 gold bars... Well to make steel you need the blast furnace. It doesn't exist in this version we're using (3.4.2). The wiki is all designed for Railcraft 5.1.0! It's frustrating when you have everything you need but it just doesn't work cause the instruction's your reading are for the newer model. Any thoughts to help ease my frustrations?!?
  5. I see the line for removing collectors and relays. My question is, as it stands is there any way to disable mark 2 and 3 versions but keep 1?
  6. You'll need to go into you .techniclauncher folder for which ever version of the mod you're using (technic or tekkit) and go into the config folder in said mod section. Look for NEI.cfg file, and open it with a text editor. Now change the line to use ID 157 instead of 152 for enchanting table. #Main configuration of NEI. #Most of these options can be changed ingame. enchantment-gui.id=157 #For those who can't help themselves lock_recipe_mode=false This is what it should say now. With obviously lock recipe set to false if you're wanting to spawn in items. (not sure if that affects enchanting at all) Oh, and try using search. I know it can be difficult sometimes to weed through and find the solution to your specific issue. However, I know for a fact this was answered before. Which is the only reason I know this.
  7. Try giving us a bit more information other than you're running a 64 bit OS. Is it Windows XP, ME, Vista, 7, Bump on a Log? Also what anti virus are you using? I had this same issue, then I went into my AVG control panel and checked the "enable gaming mode" box clicked apply. Relaunched the launcher and presto, it worked. Remember the more information you give, the more efficiently we can help you!
  8. Re: Download failed I was having the same issue. Went and opened AVG, checked the "enable game mode". Works like a champ now. Now if I can just find some antiseptic for these freaking scratches I got from fighting with the dog when i got pissed off at the launcher. Stupid animals and their claws.
  9. The most common issue I'm seeing with 2.1 install is that it was compiled using java 7 rather than java 6. Most remote hosting sites probably will not have Java 7 running on their systems. I personally use BeastNode.com for mine and know that they don't use 7. All I can recommend for people who wish to use 2.1 is to wait until the dev team writes it up using 6. There's an off chance you might be able to talk to your provider and request 7 be installed on your hosting machine, but lets face it. That is the least likely to happen, if it does it will probably take longer than the dev team. Be patient and wait to see what the dev's / mod's say on this topic. Also, don't forget to use the new format for posting bugs. Uniformity in organization of presented data is key to a quick resolution.
  10. one40sixtech to help people help you, please make sure that when you post long messages like this that you put the "error" lines from the console in a code box or spoiler window. That way you don't have to scroll a mile just to read a reply. You can put it in like this with the simple code brackets. Which will have an auto scroller on the side to conserve space.
  11. I would be interested. I live in the USA central timezone (CST which is -6 GMT) I work mornings pumping oil wells but that wraps up quickly enough. Anymore information you need from me let me know.
