Where can I download the framework and documentation to read up on it and set it up?
-
all files that need to be loaded into minecraft.jar should go into modpack.jar in the /bin/ folder
-
So forcing the modpack directory change should fix it, and put a note to have it outside of the .technic folder? Worked, Thank you
-
Can someone please look at this as to why it doesnt work? https://www.dropbox.com/s/w1csj0a5gk1le5f/pack.zip Works fine if i install it by hand not in technic format. It was originally formatted in MultiMC
-
Can someone help me figure out why it is crashing, works fine if i made a normal pack. https://www.dropbox.com/s/w1csj0a5gk1le5f/pack.zip

-
Is there any way to allow groups or users to allow / deny items? Use, or even be able to place and build them.
-
Alright, so what version are we playing on then?
-
Hey guys, what version of forge is installed on tekkit 3.0.3? Also how easy would it be to updated it both client and server side?
-
the smart moving zip since it is a mod, goes into your "Mod folder" no need to edit the mincraft.jar, this goes for both the server and client.
-
Buildcraft 3 should be smp in the 3.2 update

If the servers ever become multicore it would be amazing, because you could really push the servers even harder then. But because of it all the plugins and mods make there own threads to help with cpu load.
-
You would need the bandwidth to support minecraft though, figure around 100- 200 kB/s per person. You would be looking at 15mb/s - 20mb/s Upload just to be safe. Also how the clock speed of the processor. Keep in mind the main thread of minecraft that monjang made is only 1 thread and can only use 1 core not multiple.

Have you tried re-downloading the whole server package?

Outdated Client! / Connection Lost End of stream
zergdog replied to Atreties's question in Tekkit Classic
Correct, 3.0.3 is still DEV! It won't be recommend until the bugs our found and fixed. Originally when they posted it they said 3 days assuming no bugs pop up, but if you check the forum there are plenty of bugs and im sure a 3.0.4 will be coming out shortly. -
Tekkit only given 250mb, Launcher states 1.5gb, Not running on 64Bit Java
zergdog replied to Patwan112's question in Tekkit Classic
You could simply, reinstall your launch and remove all technic file before reinstall. Then delete your 32bit java and have just a 64bit java -
WorldEdit Schematics/New World/Pasting Spawn
zergdog replied to Nentify's question in Tekkit Classic
DL Multiverse http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/multiverse-core/files/ This will allow you to import your other world and you can switch back and forth to move all your stuff via WorldEdit. When your done you can simply uninstall the plugin and remove the old map and your good :) -
Very laggy area on my server map no clue why.
zergdog replied to Refinedcode's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Make sure to find the source of the problem and correct it to keep the lag from coming back. -
There would need to be a converter to update the map because of the deletion of forestry and adding many other items. Hopefully they are working on one.
