I can't play anything on Technic Launcher (Error occurred during initialization of VM/Help Needed!)

Whenever I attempt to open up a modpack, it begins to load, then once the loading process finishes, the launcher quickly flashes on and off of the screen but doesn't open up the game. I opened the console and in it, I found that it said this after it failed to open: "Error occurred during initialization of VM [B#347] Initial heap size set to a larger value than the maximum heap size [B#347] Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Xmx256M" I've never had this problem before and I'm not sure what's causing it. I'm able to run vanilla Minecraft outside of the launcher, but not inside of the launcher.
