  1. I am having the same issue. Windmills are not generating EU no matter what I've tried. Tin, glass fibre, 5 blocks away from the windmill to a batbox, nothing. No EU.
  2. No, there is not a way to get Tekkit in singleplayer. You have to use Technic and use the BIG ASS BUTTON LABELED MOD SELECT in the launcher to disable the mods you don't want.
  3. Bees! I've been looking for the bees... Not that they are used for much, but I still wanted to do some bee keeping. :P
  4. If people login and then it starts happening on your local PC where the game is, it's not your internet connection. Hosting it on your personal machine while playing might be an issue. Do other people lag if you are not playing?
  5. I have Essentials working just fine. Everything seems to work. What isn't working for you?
  6. Re: Urgent help. You're an idiot. Not once did you even specify what the hell you were trying to do. Then you flip out on people for calling you out on your stupidity. If you can't SEARCH this forum or even READ the numerous stickies on the subject, you SHOULDN'T BE AN SERVER ADMIN. Moron. Why the HELL would anyone create a step by step guide to install this on 3rd party host? There are MILLIONS of them out there and because of people like you, there would need to be MILLIONS of guides. Here's a suggestion. Why don't you READ about how to get it running on various platforms, figure out what works for your particular host, and create the damn step by step instructions for the rest of the community instead of being a blood sucking leach and demanding one be created for you?
  7. I use essentials and it works just fine. Install it just like you would any other time...
  8. You need to put quotes around that. "C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" options after "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" options after "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" options after
  9. Do you have 32-bit java installed or just the x64 version?
  10. You could always copy the things you want in McEdit and paste them into the new map. Or you could just start over and have fun building new stuff.
  11. I can confirm that the memory issue with computer craft IS NOT because of code being run. We had one server where he simply spawned in a console and placed it simple for decoration. That seems to be the starting point of our issues. Actually, he may not have even placed one now that I think about it. The server has 8 gig of ram and all of it was being allocated for 3 minecraft servers that were only 1gig each. When stopping all servers, only 4gig of ram would free up. I had to reboot the machine to free up the remaining ram (which is definitely the sign of a memory leak). I removed computer craft and the problem seems to have completely gone away.
  12. I've been using dynmap for a long time and everyone LOVES it. Being able to chat from the web site is awesome.
  13. Well this explains a lot! We seem to be experiencing the same problems... I set our difficulty back down to Easy just because we were getting raped by everything.
  14. You can change the port it uses in the server.properties file. The IP address that your friends will connect to is your public IP address. You can find it by going to whatismyip.com.
  15. did you change the port for the server? if you did, you picked a port that is already in use. If you didn't, then the server didn't fully stop and you need to kill that process. Try doing it on a fresh reboot.
