  1. This sometimes happens on that pipe if there are items in it before it is directed. Try unplugging your macerator (break the glass fibre cable next to it), then break the iron pipe. Let all the items flow out of the iron and clay pipe on the bottom layer, then place the iron pipe back in. Make sure the clear side of the iron pipe is facing the clay pipe by using a wrench. Now plug the macerator back in.
  2. If you are talking about collectors, then just disable MK2 and MK3 collectors. If you are talking about blaze rod emc generators, then you could remove blaze rods as an item that macerators are able to grind up. Then people would have to put bones in their emc genertors instead, which generate a lot less emc. Though I have no clue what you do to actually disable those things.
  3. Hello all, This is a short tutorial on how to make sweet redstone ingots. Sweet redstone ingots are used to make flux pipe, a very awesome block that can be used to power machines and extraction pipes. It took me more time than I want to admit to figure out how to make these ingots, which is why I'm trying to make this guide simple and straight forward. The resources you will need are: 1 modular socket 1 multi smelter 2 item input 1 machine output 1 energy input 2 obsidian transport pipe 1 chest 1 socket remote 2 redstone dust (or more) 2 sugar (or more) A source of RF power (almost any kind of engine will work) Start by placing the modular socket on the ground. Right click to add a machine output on the top face. Add a multismelter and an energy input to side faces. Next add your item inputs to the two remaining side faces. This GIF shows how to do it. Now you need to use your socket remote. Initially your socket remote should have a dark blue light when you craft it. If not, then shift+right click until you get to the dark blue light. Once you have it dark blue, then right click on the multi smelter once to set the blue light on the multi smelter to "1". Now you need to set the socket remote to "green" mode by shift+right clicking once. Now that it is green you need to do the following things: Set the green light on your first item input to "1" Set the green light on your second item input to "2" Set the green light on your multi smelter to "2" Set the green light on your machine output to "3" If you are still unsure on what to do with the socket remote, check out this GIF. Next place obsidian transport pipes directly next to the two item inputs. Also place a chest on top of the machine output as shown below. Multi Smelter Setup Toss up to 64 redstone dust into an obsidian transport pipe, and up to 64 sugar into the other obsidian transport pipe. Now everything is set up to make the sweet redstone ingots, you just need a power source. You can use pretty much any type of engine as your power source, but redstone engines do not produce enough power to run the multi smelter. You can connect the engine directly to the energy input side. If the machine is getting enough RF power, sugar, and redstone dust, then the multi smelter will change color and start inputting sweet redstone ingots into the chest. Here is a GIF showing what it should look like when it is working.
  4. Hello all, HV solar panels produce a hefty 512 EU/t, and when combined with a good method for storing their power, are generally considered the best power source in Tekkit. Their primary disadvantage is how long they take to craft. Which is why I have created a relatively lag-free method for automatically producing HV solar panels, and this is the tutorial for how to make it. I doubt that I am the first to come up with this type of design, but I haven't found any good guides out there that don't take up an unnecessary amount of space (but I'm not claiming that this design is optimized). HV Solar Panel Factory Solar panels are great when they work, but they are unreliable with bad weather or if you don't sleep through the long minecraft nights, which is why I would recommend making some MFSUs to go along with the HV solar panels you will get from this factory. I might put out a tutorial for automatically manufacturing MFSUs later on as well. If you are planning on building one of these then you probably should be aware that HV solar panels are not cheap. Each one is 2,646,593 emc worth of raw materials, and it will cost this much per panel regardless of whether you use the factory or craft it by hand. If you are unfamiliar with logistics pipes then do not fear, the guide goes through some simple steps on what to do with them. The resources you will need for the factory are: 11 energy condenser (this is one of the few cases where having MK2 condensers isn't a good thing) 16 automatic crafting table MKII 1 auto workbench 1 chest 27 supplier logistics pipe 15 provider logistics pipe 16 basic logistics pipe 3 redstone block 3 redstone engine 2 item teleport pipe 3 wooden transport pipe 2 closed transport pipe 1 LV solar panel 1 logistics power junction If you already have an emc generator and would like to use it to power your factory, then you will also need: 2 item teleport pipe 1 clay transport pipe The total emc cost for the factory is 855,368. This is less than a third the cost of a single HV solar panel. You will need significantly more emc to get the machine running and you will also need at least one of each of the following materials to set as targets for your energy condensers: rubber copper ingot redstone dust refined iron tin ingot furnace wood planks coal dust glass gold ingot diamond Placing down the blocks for this contraption is fairly simple and giving inputs to the pipes/tables is easy, but it can get a little bit tedious because there are so many recipes that go into a HV solar panel. You will also need a wrench to do this. As with most machines, make sure that you have enough room (this machine is 10x2x3) and that you place it in a spawn chunk or somewhere near a world anchor. Step 1 Start by placing down the six blocks shown in the picture below. This is the arrangement for most of the factory. Note that it is important that your automatic crafting table MkII is facing upward (it does this automatically when you place it down). Block Placement for Step 1 Step 2 You will need to make 10 more of these "slices" and set them up next to each other. However, for the slice on the very end place a cobblestone block instead of an energy condenser. Block Placement for Step 2 Step 3 Now add 3 more automatic crafting tables MkII to the front of it. Right click the 3rd one with your wrench to rotate it so that it is facing away from the others. Block Placement for Step 3 Step 4 Throw some supplier logistics pipes on the side, and some provider logistics pipes on top of the first two. The rotated automatic crafting table MkII gets a basic logistics pipe on top of it. Block Placement for Step 4 Step 5 One block away from your closest energy condenser, add a chest. Then add 3 basic logistics pipes out from the chest. Put a provider logistics pipe on the end, and finally an energy condenser underneath the provider logistics pipe. Block Placement for Step 5 Step 6 Place a wooden transport pipe coming out of the rotated automatic crafting table MkII and set a redstone engine above it. Add a redstone block next to the redstone engine and add an item teleport pipe to the end of the wooden transport pipe. Block Placement for Step 6 Step 7 For Step 7, you get to decide where the new chest and item teleport pipe will go. This will be where your HV solar panels will be brought to once they are made, so put it somewhere that is convenient for you. Before the item teleport pipes will work however, you must set up their information. Right click on the item teleport pipe in the black circle and put it in "send only" mode and choose a frequency. If you already had some other item teleport pipes on your world then pick a frequency that is not already being used. If these are your first item teleport pipes then pick whatever value you want. For the item teleport pipe in the red circle, put it in "receive only" mode and give it the same frequency you chose for your other pipe. If you realllly don't want to deal with item teleport pipes then you can forget about Step 7 and instead just put a chest next to the wooden transport pipe, but you will have to run all the way out to your factory whenever you want solar panels. Before moving to Step 8, you should have an emc generator. There are several types to choose from, but if you want one that can keep up with this factory then I would recommend a design I created called Project 71. Another option is to just add high emc items into the energy condenser manually (the one next to the redstone block), but that requires upkeep. If you do choose to put in emc by hand, then you don't need to do Step 8 so go straight to Step 9. Output from Factory to Personal Chest Step 8 Add in a clay transport pipe coming out of the energy condenser and item teleport pipes on the right and bottom of the clay transport pipe. For your emc generator, you must send the items that it generates over to the item teleport pipe in the picture below (red circle). In order to send them you will need to attach an item teleport pipe to your emc generator. The pipe attached to your generator should be in "send only" mode at a frequency that is not being used. The item teleport pipe in the red circle should be in "receive only" mode and have the same frequency as the one attached to your emc generator. For the item teleport pipe in the black circle it must be in "send only" mode. You should do something similar to Step 7, and have it connect to a convenient chest where you want any extra emc to go (probably next to a transmutation table). Note that the item teleport pipe that goes to your emc deposit chest (not shown) should be in "receive only" mode. EMC Supply using Item Teleport Pipes Step 9 For the next step, head over to the other side of your factory. Place blocks in the orientation shown below. Use the wrench to make sure the redstone engine is facing upward and that the automatic crafting table MkII is facing toward the wooden transport pipe. Block Placement for Step 9 Step 10 Next add the blocks shown below directly in front of the blocks from Step 9. Note that the automatic crafting table MkII must be facing downward and that the wooden transport pipe on the top row (behind the auto workbench, not visible) should have the solid side going into the auto workbench. Block Placement for Step 10 Step 11 Now all of your blocks for the factory are placed down! However, now you must add some targets for your pipes and condensers to get it working. Lets begin with the energy condensers. When you open up a condenser, the top left box is the target box. To add targets to a condenser, you drag an item into the target box (the item is not consumed). The photo below labels all the energy condensers so that you know what targets to set for them. Energy Condenser Labels Targets: tin ingot copper rubber redstone dust furnace refined iron ingot coal dust glass wood gold ingot diamond Step 12 Next up is the automatic crafting table MkIIs and also the lone auto workbench. For these you need to put in recipes. But before you do, you must go through each of the automatic crafting table MkIIs and set the middle button (on the right hand side) from "1" to "64". The photo below labels all of the automatic crafters on each side so that you know which recipes to add in. In order to make all of the recipes, you will need to craft at least one of each of the following items: copper cable RE-battery machine block circuit generator\ LV-transformer solar panel gold cable 2xIns. gold cable MV-transformer low voltage solar panel HV cable 4xIns. HV cable energy crystal HV-transformer medium voltage solar panel Automatic crafting table MkII Labels Recipes for Each Label Step 13 For the basic logistics pipe directly next to your chest (circled in red) then right click it with a wrench and change its default route from "No" to "Yes". Setting up "Default" Route Step 14 You will also need to change some things on your supplier logistics pipes, but luckily you don't have to worry about the provider logistics pipes. There are 10 supplier logistics pipes connected to your energy condensers. On one of these pipes right click it with a wrench. You must change the setting from "Bulk 50" to "Partial" on all 10. The supplier logistics pipes must also be told which items to let in. For the 10 pipes that are connected to the energy condensers place a single diamond in their "items to keep stocked" window with the exception of the one connected to energy condenser #6 (the one with refined iron ingots). For energy condenser #6, put in 3 diamonds instead of 1. Note that you aren't actually placing your diamonds inside the pipe so you don't loose them. Instead you are just informing the pipe of what to let in. If your energy condenser #11 has a source of emc, then you will see the logistics pipes starting to work. You aren't done quite yet, but you are close! Now there are 17 supplier logistics pipes you have not configured yet: One on the top row, one on the second row, and 15 on the bottom row. Set all of the remaining supplier logistics pipes to "Partial" mode with the exception of the one connected to the auto workbench. For the one connected to the auto workbench then set it to "Full" mode. Depending on which crafting table these 17 are connected to, you must tell it the type and amount of items to let in. A general rule of thumb is that you use a full stack of each item that is being used in the recipe. For example: The supplier logistics pipe connected to automatic crafting table MkII #1 would look like this: Automatic crafting table MkII #1, GUI You don't HAVE to put a full stack inside, but usually it is the more the merrier. Also in the example shown above you would have to put a minimum of 1 copper cable, 2 redstone dust, and 4 tin ingots. This way there is at least enough crafting ingredients to make ONE RE-battery. The more you request, the faster they can be crafted. After about 2-3 stacks of each item type, it becomes a bit redundant to add more. If you don't have a full stack of an item you are trying to add in, then you can always just keep clicking until you have 64+ placed inside. One exception is the supplier logistics pipe attached to the auto workbench, you should only have 1 diamond and 8 redstone dust in that one. Automatic crafting table MkII #2 and automatic crafting table MkII #16 are also a little different than the rest. For automatic crafting table MkII #2, you do not need to add in a stack of RE-batteries. For automatic crafting table MkII #16, you do not need to add in a stack of energy crystals. Be sure to add input items for ALL of the supplier logistics pipes because if you don't, then the device wont be able to manufacture all of the items that it needs! As you continue to give items to the supplier logistics pipes, the factory will start sending and manufacturing items. Once all of them are done, it can begin creating high voltage solar panels. If your factory has a healthy supply of emc in the energy condenser #11, then items should be moving around constantly. This GIF should give you an idea of how it will look. Even with items zipping around quickly, it still takes a couple minutes for a high voltage solar panel to be created. High voltage solar panels are an amazing source of energy and you will be able to use them for all sorts of applications (I would recommend making one of these). If you have a very high supply of emc, but you still aren't getting any high voltage solar panels, then looks through your automatic crafting table MkIIs and see which items are not being supplied, that should help you narrow down where the problem is.
  5. Hello all, This is an offshoot from my other post. It is a short tutorial on how to make a basic blaze rod emc generator. It doesn't have high output, but it should hold you over until you can afford to go for the big guns that is Project 71. The resources you will need are: 4 solar panel 2 batbox 1 condenser 1 macerator 1 chest 2 redstone engine 1 redstone block 2 wooden transport pipe 4 copper cable Total emc cost is 77,695. This device produces roughly twice the emc that a MK1 power flower does. But a MK1 power flower costs 1,823,097 emc. MK1 Power Flower Layers There is a top and bottom layer to the emc machine that you will be building. Small EMC Generator Layers Build the two layers as shown, the left side is the bottom layer and the right side is the top layer. Next you will want to make sure that your batboxes are facing your copper cables. The top wooden transport pipe should have the solid side facing the energy condenser. The bottom wooden transport pipe should have the solid side facing the macerator. This gif gives a quick rundown of how to adjust them with a wrench. Set a blaze rod as the target for your energy condenser, and add some blaze rods to the macerator. It is all finished, you may remove any excess blaze rods from the chest and burn them in a transmutation table for emc. You can make upgrades to this design as you get able to afford more expensive parts. If you start adding overclocker upgrades to the macerator, it will require more power and produce more emc. To keep up with its power demand, you can replace the solar panels with LV solar panels, replace the batboxes with MFEs and replace the chest with an alchemical chest. Keep upgrading parts, until you can afford to make Project 71.Be careful though, you will need to add transformer upgrades to your macerator before adding MV or HV solar panels.
  6. Hello all, This is a short tutorial on how to convert industrial craft power (EU/t) into buildcraft power (RF/t) and teleport it from your generator to wherever it is needed. After that you can also convert it back into EU/t if need be. For most applications a basic setup shown below is needed. Note that your power teleport pipe should be in "send only" mode and that you must specify a frequency to use. My personal favorite is frequency 120 because it is easy to remember (voltage of a wall outlet in America). To change the settings on your power teleport pipe, simply right click. The consumer, energy bridge, and rf producer do not require any special treatment and will work as soon as you place them down. As long as there is a blue beam of power flowing through the emerald kinesis pipe, then your power system is working. Basic Power Teleportation Setup Remember that both the destination and the power source must be in loaded chunks in order for the power teleport pipe to work. If you don't want to build both of them in a spawn chunk, then I would recommend that you use a world anchor. The energy source for your power teleport system can be any type, though I would recommend adding an MFSU in between if you are using an inconsistent source such as solar panels or wind mills. You should definitely use buildcraft energy because it produces such a large amount (particularly HV solar panels). You can make the energy source as large as you wish by attaching multiple energy generators to the glass fibre cable. The IC2 HV Consumer can be switched out for the LV, MV, and EV versions depending on your energy source. The EV consumer can adapt to all situations so it is the best, but it is also the most expensive. To retrieve RF power from you power teleportation system, you do not need any converters. Place a power teleport pipe down, put it in "receive only" mode and set it to the frequency you chose earlier, add a kinesis pipe in between and you have power. How to Retrieve Power from Your System This basic setup will provide power for most applications and one HV solar panel can power several quarrys at once. You can also use this system to power wooden transport pipes to extract items from chest extremely quickly. You can have the RF producer sitting directly next to the extraction pipe, or you can make use of flux pipe as shown below. Making the sweet redstone ingots required for flux pipe can be tricky, so take a look at this guide if you want to craft them. Powering Extraction Pipes using Flux Pipe If you want to power machines with EU then you can also do this, but it requires extra steps to convert it. Retrieving EU/t from Power Teleport System Step 1 Remember that you must have your power teleport pipe in "retrieve only" mode and at the right frequency. MV and HV producers will not damage machines designed to handle MV and HV power respectively. However, EV producers are another story. EV producers will destroy all machines (in most cases) and can even burn through 4xIns. HV cable if you are not careful. I would recommend NEVER using EV producers, but ALWAYS using EV consumers. The basic power teleport system works great for the majority of applications however, if you plan on making multiple contraptions all powered by the same source then you might need a stronger setup. Start with an RF producer surrounded on 5 sides with emerald kinesis pipe. Step 1 Block Placement \A Step 2 Add diamond kinesis pipe to the side of each piece of emerald kinesis pipe. Next throw in a power teleport pipe on top. Set this power teleport pipe to "send only" mode and your chosen frequency. Step 2 Block Placement Step 3 Add an energy bridge to the free side of the RF producer, and an EV consumer on top of that. Step 3 Block Placement Step 4 From here you can use cable to power the EV consumer however you like, but I would recommend that you add a form of energy storage. If you are looking for expensive and powerful endgame power production then keep going to Step 4 by adding glass fibre cable to the sides. Step 4 Block Placement Step 5 Create a horseshoe shape out of 9 MFSUs. The left and right side MFSUs should be facing downward and the MFSU in the middle should be facing toward the center as shown. Fill in the middle with glass fibre cable. Step 5 Block Placement Step 6 Line the top with 12 HV solar panels. HV solar panels are expensive and hard to make, if you want help manufacturing them then take a look at this guide. Throw down a world anchor if you need to keep it loaded while you are away. This power source will be able to power an army of quarries from the other side of world if need be, as well as all the contractions that you care to build! Completed Power Teleportation System
  7. Hello all, I've managed to create a very compact blaze rod emc generator for Tekkit Legends that fits within a 3x4x4 space, in a couple hours it can generate enough emc to make a full set of gem armor, and now I have several stacks of red matter furnaces laying around. It also doesn't have any laggy components and can easily keep up with the EMC needs of everyone on my server. This design might work on other versions of Tekkit, if someone wants to test it out then let me know. Project 71 EMC Generator This is a basic tutorial of how to build it, however this is an END GAME emc factory and has some fairly expensive pieces. If you are looking for something a lot cheaper (and slower) then check out this economy version. Also, if you are unfamiliar with some of the items in the resources list then don't be afraid, this guide should cover how to set them up and break it down into bite sized steps. The resources you will need are: 8 high voltage solar panel or a an equivalent EU power source 7 MFSU or an equivalent EU storage system 2 energy condenser MK2 4 item teleport pipes 2 power teleport pipes or an equivalent RF power source. You will also need an RF power teleport system in order for these pipes to receive power. To learn how to do this, click here. You don't need a whole lot of RF, but being able to teleport it is very useful. 3 cobblestone kinesis pipe 4 flux pipe 1 macerator 8 glass fibre cable 2 iron transport pipe 2 clay transport pipe 6 wooden transport pipe 16 overclocker upgrade 2 transformer upgrade 1 energy storage upgrade 1 blaze rod (at least) The resources above can be made from the following raw materials: 32 red matter 32 dark matter 155 diamond (2 stacks +27) 41812 refined iron ingot (653 stacks +20) 71 iron ingot (1 stack +7) 142 gold ingot (2 stacks +14) 29158 copper ingot (455 stacks+38) 16601 tin ingot (259 stacks +25) 8 clay 21 bronze ingot 2 sugar 113 coal (1 stack +49) 1 charcoal 12288 coal dust (192 stacks) 25482 redstone dust (398 stacks +10) 14 glowstone dust 266 lapis lazuli (4 stacks +10) 55314 rubber (864 stacks +18) 8 obsidian 3 flint 2103 wood planks (32 stacks +55) 12328 glass (192 stacks +40) 32844 cobblestone (513 stacks +12) 1 blaze rod The total emc cost is 44167992, but the vast majority of this cost comes from the cost of the high voltage solar panels. These also take a long time to craft on top of how expensive they are, which is why I would recommend this guide if you have not already crafted them. This device will still work even if you don't have all of these HV solar panels and MFSUs, but it will not work nearly as fast (and make that horrible noise that macerators make when they don't receive enough power). This design uses flux pipe to transfer RF power, and that requires making sweet redstone ingots. These are very cheap and extremely useful, but they are a headache to make, which is why I would recommend learning how to from here. When choosing an area to build this thing, remember that like most other machines it has to be in a loaded chunk in order to run while you aren't near it. The source it is getting RF power from must also be in a loaded chunk. You can either build them in a spawn chunk, or you can use a world anchor to keep them loaded. You can also use a teleport tether, but world anchors seem to be less buggy and after a very very long time will run out of juice, meaning that if someone drops down a world anchor somewhere on the server and forgets about it then it wont be using up processing power forever. I would also recommend embedding the whole thing in the ground so that it isn't sticking out like a sore thumb. Embedded EMC Generator IMPORTANT: DO NOT BREAK ANY MFSUs OR SOLAR PANELS WITH A PICKAXE!! If you are planning on building this thing then you know how expensive they are, and they will turn into useless machine blocks unless you break them with a wrench. Now that you have a (very long) shopping list, we can get started on how to put this monster together. For the sake of simplicity, I've broken it down into layers. First Layer (bottom) It is a pretty simple layer, but you have to be careful about which direction the iron pipes are flowing. Right click the lower iron pipe with a wrench until the clear end is facing toward the clay pipe on the bottom. For the iron pipe on top (circled in red), it is going to be a little bit more stubborn. I'm not sure if it is a glitch or intentional, but iron pipes have issues connecting to wooden pipes. To force it to do what you want, you will have to temporarily replace the wooden pipe in the black circle with a different type of pipe, then use the wrench to direct the iron pipe in the correct direction. Once the iron pipe is correct, then you can add the wooden pipe back in. Watch this GIF to see exactly how to do it. Next add a blaze rod as the target for your energy condenser MK2. if you are wondering if you can get away with a normal condenser instead of a MK2 condenser, then sadly the answer is no. This emc generator has a very high output and a regular condenser can't keep up, so your pipes will get overloaded and likely explode unless you use a MK2 condenser. GUI for Energy Condenser MK2 with Target Set to Blaze Rods IMPORTANT: DO NOT ADD IN THE GLASS FIBRE CABLE YET! Before inserting the cable, you must first place down your macerator and add in 2 transformer upgrades. If you connect the macerator to a HV solar panel before doing so, it will explode! Also, while you are at it, add in 16 overclocker upgrades and 1 energy storage upgrade. If your macerator GUI does not look like the one in the picture, you probably have a rotary macerator instead of a regular one. Second Layer Power Teleport Pipe GUI Once you add in the upgrades, you may now connect the solar panel to the macerator using glass fibre cable like in the photo. In order for your power teleport pipes to work, they must both be set to the frequency of your power teleport system, and be in "receive only" mode like in the picture. Alternatively if you didn't make a power teleport system, then you will need to remove the power teleport pipes and kinesis pipes then connect combustion engines up to all of your wooden transport pipes. However, combustion engines will need to be restocked with fuel and run the risk of exploding so I would highly recommend you make a power teleport system (link is in the list at the beginning). The wooden transport pipe (circled in black) needs to have the solid side facing the macerator, if the solid side is facing the condenser instead, then give it a whack with your wrench to fix it. Also, another wooden transport pipe underneath the macerator will need to be fixed as well, this one also needs to have the solid side facing the macerator. Watch this GIF to see what I'm talking about. Third Layer Use your handy-dandy wrench to make sure the iron pipe is facing the clay pipe. Also use the wrench to make sure that all three of the MFSUs are facing the glass fibre cable. This GIF should sum it up. Fourth Layer (top) Once you have the last of your high voltage solar panels and your MFSUs in place, then just use the wrench again to make the MFSUs face your glass fibre cables. The MFSU circled in black is easy to adjust, but the three MFSUs in the red circles are a bit trickier. You must go up underneath the device and use a wrench on the bottom of those three MFSUs to make them face the fibre cable, as shown in this GIF. Just a few final steps before it is up and running. Remember the item teleport pipes from Layer 1 and Layer 3? They need their frequencies set up as well. Setting up the Item Teleport Pipes The item teleport pipe in the black circle and the item teleport pipe in the red circle must have the same frequency. If you already have teleport pipes in your world then be sure not to choose a frequency that is already being used. For the sake of this example, lets set the frequency of these two pipes as 1. Make sure the item teleport pipe in the black circle is in "send only" mode and that the item teleport pipe in the red circle is in "receive" only mode. The item teleport pipe in the yellow circle should be at a different frequency than the other two, for this example set it to a frequency of 2. Once you've chosen a frequency put it in "send only" mode. Item Teleport Pipe GUIs: Setting Frequencies and Modes Now there should only be two blocks left unplaced: an energy condenser MK2 and one last item teleport pipe. Choose a convenient location in your world (probably next to a transmutation table) where you would like to receive emc and place down your condenser MK2. Next put the last item teleport pipe under your condenser MK2 and set it to the same frequency as the item teleport pipe in the yellow circle. Also set the item teleport pipe in the blue circle to "receive only" mode. The condenser hooked up to the item teleport pipe in the blue circle has to be an MK2 condenser otherwise it will overflow and throw blaze rods all over your nice home. You should set the target of the condenser MK2 to be a stackable item with very high emc value. I use red matter furnaces, but if you can not afford to make one, then use something like dark matter or red matter. After the emc generator has been running for a couple minutes you will have enough emc for a red matter furnace so don't worry too much about it. After you have chosen a target for the condenser then return to the emc factory and double check that all of your iron and wooden transport pipes are facing the correct directions. Also makes sure that your flux pipes are powered (they should show that they have ~8000/8000 RF). Also make sure that all your MFSUs are facing into the glass fibre cables. Now throw a few blaze rods into the macerator. If it starts churning out blaze powder and manufacturing blaze rods then you've created a functioning emc mega-generator! If you are wondering if it is working correctly, then this should give you an idea of how fast it should look at full efficiency: Flow Inside Pipes, Macerator Speed. Unless you are making gem armor and throwing it in lava then your new Project 71 emc generator should produce more emc than you could use! Finished Project 71 EMC Generator TROUBLESHOOTING: If after a few minutes then your machine starts spitting blaze rods/power everywhere then either your transport pipes aren't hooked up correctly or your item teleport pipes aren't at the right frequencies. if your machine doesn't start up at all then you may not have the right upgrades in the macerator, or your flux pipes aren't receiving RF power. Another potential issue is that your macerator might have blaze powder stuck in its input slot instead of blaze rods. You can check if your pipes are receiving power by hovering over them. You can tell if your power teleport pipes are sending power if there is a blue stream of energy flowing through the cobblestone kinesis pipes. If your cobblestone kinesis pipes DO NOT have a stream of blue energy flowing through them then there is something wrong with your RF power supply. This is probably because the RF generator is in an unloaded chuck or your world anchor has run out of ender pearls. If neither of these things is the problem, then try breaking your energy bridge and putting it back down. (this is a bug that sometimes occurs when teleporting power across a server) If your machine is running slowly, then it is not receiving enough EU to power it at full efficiency (remember, this thing chews through 7-8 HV solar panels worth of EU). If you have all 8 solar panels connected up to it, then I would double check that your MFSUs are facing the correct directions and that there are no "solid" blocks directly above the solar panels. After a minute or two then all of your wooden transport pipes should be flowing with either blaze powder or blaze rods. If not then either your flux pipes are not receiving power or your wooden pipes are facing the wrong way. If you see blaze powder and blaze rods flowing through the same pipe, this is normal. So long as the macerator always has a supply of blaze rods to grind then it is not losing any efficiency. If it grinded up the blaze rods you put in initially, but then the macerator ran out of blaze rods then it probably wasn't a big enough stack to get it started. Restock the macerator with a larger stack of blaze rods. If there is a large number of blaze rods bouncing back and forth inside the pipe (and not entering the condenser, then you might have mistaken a clay pipe for an iron pipe. Also, an iron pipe may be facing the wrong direction. To fix this, turn off the emc machine and break the pipe to let the items drain out, then replace it facing the correct direction and restart the emc machine.
