Just curious if you've got any plans to update this to the latest builds. I absolutely loved it, you did a fantastic job.
not yet, when thechnicpack updates for 1.2 rec. build i will.
i will also rebuild it from the ground up to clean upp som unneeded files

Continuing the short trend of on topic posts:
I downloaded the pack and dropped it into technic and everything was great. Kudos to you good sir. Here's my problem, when I dropped the exact same pack into tekkit a few mods still run off of default textures (railcraft, and additional objects for example). I read the whole thread on my phone so I may have missed it, but has anyone found a solution or am I just doing it wrong? Also before anyone flames me for asking a tekkit question on the technic board, OP says the pack also works with tekkit so this seemed the best place for this question.
It just hit me that this may be due to tekkit and technic having slightly different versions of some mods. Will research and post back.
tekkit 2.0 or 2.1?

I'm trying to use the modpack and I can't seem to make it work. So here's a large dump of information (sorry for the long post :<) concerning what I have and what I did.
Computer Specs :
-
[li]CPU : Intel Core i5 2500[/li]
[li]GPU : Twintech GeForce GTX 570 1,25 Go[/li]
[li]RAM : 16Go[/li]
I'm assuming these are sufficient to run the texture pack. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Software Specs :
-
[li]OS : Windows 7 64x.[/li]
[li]Java : 1.7 64x.[/li]
[li]Technic Launcher : 0.5.4.8[/li]
[li]Technic SSP : 6.0.7[/li]
As far as I know, I have all the latest versions.
If you need other informations about my config, please ask and I'll gladly provide.
Now for what I did :

[li]Downloaded HD texture pack.[/li]
[li]Put it under .techniclauncher\technicssp\texturepacks\[/li]
[li]Run Technic Launcher, get to the options screen.[/li]
[li]Select 4GB under memory allocation.[/li]
[li]Saved settings (launcher restarted, probably to launch with the new RAM option)[/li]
[li]Launch minecraft with Technic modpack selected.[/li]
[li]Go to texture pack.[/li]
[li]Select your pack (wait 30 seconds, as you mentioned).[/li]
[li]Click on "Done" button (wait for a few seconds, like you mentioned)[/li]
[li]See the changes have been applied on the main menu.[/li]
[li]Start the game.[/li]
[li]Wait for a few seconds (Simulating the world...)[/li]
[li]Black screen (turns white when I alt-tab to take control of my mouse back), then the game shuts down.[/li]
Am I missing something ? Did I mess up the installation ? Is my computer not powerful enough ?
Any help will be appreciated.
EDIT :
I've done some more tests. Here is what I found out :
Let's call the world I have "World1".
So world 1 worked well under normal texture pack.

[li]Trying to run again with HD gives the black screen.[/li]
[li]Trying to run it back with normal texture now also gives the black screen.[/li]
Now creating a world "World2" under normal texture.

On another note, I found something else :
I can indeed access worlds, but ONLY if the HD texture pack hasn't been activated in a session.
What I mean is :

[li]Starting with the HD texture will not let me launch worlds.[/li]
[li]Starting with the HD, going to normal won't let me launch worlds.[/li]
[li]Starting in normal then going in HD won't let met launch worlds.[/li]
[li]Starting in normal and let it be, then I can access all worlds previously made.[/li]
Thats... realy wierd...
the only thing i can think of is bad graphiccard, but ist a really wird problem...

I downloaded it a bit ago, and theres a problem..
When using covers, it actually goes darker then the surrounding blocks.. now when i use covers often now, this gets to be a problem because it doesnt blend in.
it has nothing to doo with the texture pack, did you turn smothlightning off? try to put it on again.

I'm not an artist, otherwise I would help myself, but does anyone know if this is available/being worked on for the Yogbox?

Second, My Flaxflower looks a bit strange, is this right?
yes it works corectly, the maker of the addon for RP2 (?) dident remeber it was 2 blocks.

I have always wanted to make a texturepack but I am not an good artist, but with these adons I can make a half mine half others texturepack.
and I am happy about it.

same problem here, just ubuntu desktop on my old win XP comp, noone can stay for 10 mins without geting disconected
anyone got an idea?

well, this is already updated for 6.0.7 dev. build, if they dont have changed anything from that my pack is already compatible.
otherwise I will update as fast as I can
and fixing some bugs in tekkit part

Is there any way you could make a 64x version of this aswell? My laptop can't run 128x it closes before reaching the minecraft screen .

I would like to use this texture pack, but I'm afraid it will just break the textures of anything else I have modded in on top of the Technic Pack. But, those mods use modloader, so...would it work?
What I want to happen is for the texture pack to somehow default back to vanilla textures for any item it doesn't include. (E.g.: crystal wing)
hopefully it will work fine, it will not "break" the texture, if it dont work you can always use switch back to deafult.

when ever i try to patch the technic pack it won't let me and when i try to start up the technic pack it istanlly crashes > :'(
No need for patching, its already done by the technicteam.

sorry, but you almost wont get any mod textures in 32x some suport 64, but no 32

What would the texture pack do to shut down my game? It doesn't even come up with a crash error screen.
did you give it 2GB of memory to use?
and if your comp is old and rusty, dont use it, its VERY power eating.

Are the IC2 textures updated in this? Cause the version of this I have [32x] doesn't have sprites for LapPack, Overclocker upgrade, and a few more, including Bees.

The mo creatures textures need to be manually replaced with the textures in the "resources" folder. So you cant automatically apply them through a texture pack.
but i dont even have mo'creatures texture.
if you mean the millener textures i have seen a pack with the textures in it, no need for some replaces.

I have put together a texturepack for Technic 7.2/Tekkit 3.1

OVER 5000 DOWNLOADS WOOT
install:
1 download my patch
2 download the orginal pack by sphax here: http://bdcraft.net/download-purebdcraft-texturepack-for-minecraft (take the 64 one)
3 open both with a archiving program
4 drag all the stuff from my patch into the pack
5 drop the pack in the texturepck folder in Technic or Tekkit
6 select the pack and enjoy!
I did not make any of the textures, I just put them all in one single texture pack.

WARNING: dont use on bad computers, it will be a very laggy, you also need 2GB RAM for technicpack to not get the out of memory error.
when you first select the texture the game will freeze for about 30 sek, the wen you click the Done button it will freeze again, THEN you are ready to go!!!

curent bugs:
when holding stuff in your hand it looks wierd [its a forge bug so i cant do anything to fix it]
additional pipes/logistic pipes wont work.
buildcraft oil/refined oil not HD.
some textures like thaumcraft and mo'creatures are not fully done yet
some pipes change texture all the time, (from HD to normal and then back again)
railcraft texturs are messed up, i fixed most of it
if you find any texture bugs, send them to me and I will se what i can do about it.

Secretchaos: finding the CTIII bug in the GUI (dident know that somthing was missing)
Shoeboxama: teached me how to fix the millenair textures (they are not in becouse millenair isn't in technic )

but when thay make an rec build of it i will, and i will ad some new goodies too.
