#confession i don't have the technic launcher installed on my computer but i have the FTB and ATL-Launcher installed

it is the acceleration....i typed that at some unholy hour of the night.... 20m is enough to kill you for sure, depending on what you land on and how you land on it....but i think that is overthinking the question.

if it takes you 1 second to fall half the height of the building in a freefall then that means the building is 2 times 9.8m/s^2 (the speed of gravity on earth) which is like 20....20m doesn't seem all the big considering a large foot step is around 1m.... as for editions, think of them as a build for a program, nothing is perfect in 1.0 so you end up with version 8.0 (because making a 7.5 would cost them to much to print) because things change and spelling gets corrected.

its a (stupid) rounding bug, since xcom is programmed to say 99.99% it rounds, in this case it rounds up, displaying 100% but taking the 99.99% into its RNG-seed, shenanigans. which isn't the worst thing the worst thing is missing it TWICE! yes...i have the best luck i know. no one died though, i just ended up using suppression instead....turns out floaters get scared when you bomard them with psi attacks and ionized plasma...who would have thought eh? tdlr that's xcom baby.

yes this is the long war mod....with a bunch of ini tweeks, the devs have made it so that alot of things that are in the mod and be modded (insert meme here) from the aliens research to how much cash you start with. even on the lowest difficulty though its a significant jump in challenge from vanilla this is well into like my second year...if you want to read up on all the things there is a wiki for it here EDIT: if you want some youtuber to learn off of then Beaglerush does ironman impossible runs of longwar. he is a little insane i know... that was the dedicated Vram....it has 4gbs of total ram.....idk how much i couldn't watch streams on high or source though....that was it's breaking point.... we are talking about a machine that can't run FTL at 60 FPS....yes its that bad. i'm surprised i got 5-10 fps in BL2

friend of mine did, he didn't break anything and was able to solve heat buy buying one of those cooling mats for his laptop i was going to....but when your crappy laptop only has ~100mb or so of Vram....there isn't much to overclock.... EDIT: i keep a pre-paid credit card that i use for me fishy looking purchases (or i just don't want to inout my credit card into a box) if the need comes to past. also, i've been up cause of this
