Could you at least make it so that you can have a file/folder it references to find extra icons? Even if those have to be distributed not using the mod, custom icons would be a big boon.

This looks very useful. I do have a feature request though: Some way to add intermediate items for crafting chains. An item with a custom icon that doesn't do anything except get used in recipes. I'm not sure how well that could work with the whole 'do it all ingame' bit though. EDIT: I think this could be done if you add a single item at the start and use its metadata to set which if the chain items created it is. That would only leave the issue of getting its texture, which you could send at runtime to clients so the image(s) get distributed throughout the clients. Then the whole thing (except for selecting the initial image) could be done ingame.

I like canes. I like redstone signals and automation. My request is a mod that adds a redstone cane that you can hold, and it appears as a cane, and when you right click you tap it on the floor and it creates a redstone signal on each block in a 3X3 area. So I can do things like stand there with a cane and then drop my foes into a pit of lava. Life's simple pleasures: Button free.

Accidental double post

Freeze/thaw in a pattern would work perfectly, and aiming blocks is pretty easy. The ideal pattern would be to target a continuous line of water (for freezing) or ice (for thawing) up to a max distance.

I was wondering if it would be possible to have a mod that added a block that froze all water blocks in a line from it when powered by redstone, and then when unpowered turned them back to water.

Is the information on the formatting of the modlibrary file anywhere? Or would this be considered 'easy'?
