  1. I wanna say, you posed an answer to fix Voltz, where you need to get the Linux version, however I have no idea how to use the Linux version, it only comes up with a folder, not at all like the Windows version :( Plz reply :D)

  2. Hello, you may recognize my name from the Technic Questions site. I have created a series (still in a fledgling state) of Voltz videos. It's only been in existence for a little over 2 weeks but we have 4 videos currently and are working on number 5. For all people interested in the new Voltz modpack, I hope that my series will be a source of helpfulness, information, and maybe some laughs too. Here is my channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/mikeymoose93?feature=mhee I play with some personal friends, but would be willing to consider having guests in for provisional cameos, and hey, if you really like us and we really like you maybe we could form a lasting partnership (I would supply details and terms if such a thing were to occur). There are many channels available for minecraft videos, and I do not have unreachable dreams of making a living like the Yogscast does. But nevertheless, it's fun and I hope to get some feedback from you as to how you like the videos and what we can improve on. Thanks! Note: Viewer discretion is advised. Some infrequent to frequent profanity may exist in the videos.
  3. You seem to be pretty popular, and helpful, too. Congratulations on making this online community proud. (no sarcasm intended, BTW)

Thank you, NinjaFruit. I try to help where I can. I see you're making a name for yourself as well. Keep up the good work!

  4. Starting up a Voltz YouTube series...pilot video should (hopefully) be up later today.

  5. thanks for the answer it really cleared up the mess in my mind wondering what it could be used for and what its called

No problem. Techperson gave some more detail on your question, and as always the Tekkit wiki at http://thetekkit.wikia.com/wiki/The_Tekkit_Wiki will always be useful, no matter how far you get in Tekkit.

  6. I can get on solo perfectly fine so my firewall isnt bocking the technic launcher, right?

Maybe you can try explicitly allowing the Technic Launcher through if that didn't work, which is located at C:\Users\(YOUR_USERNAME)\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher.technic-launcher.jar

To switch between modpacks like Voxel, Yogbox, and Tekkit, use the drop down in the top left before logging in to the launcher. As for whether or not you can choose mods to include or not include inside of the Yogbox, I do not know. The Yogbox is no longer being developed, however.

  8. I have noticed you are really helpful on peoples questions and was wondering if you could help me? I am trying to turn my singleplayer world into a server, I have already made my server and know that I am to put the world details of my single player world where the world details of the server should be, but my problem is that I cant find the world details of my single player world?

  10. What I believe Techpriest is trying to say, paul, is that this is not the appropriate place to advertise your server. The Tekkit forums already have a place to do that, so if you'd like to advertise your server, I refer you to the main forum page, subcategory Tekkit Servers.
  11. In SSP? That's why I select a build instead of the automatic dev or reccomended build, so I always know what I'm loading
  12. That's what happened on the server I play on. We didn't update correctly and our mods weren't loading so everything non-vanilla disappeared. Only in the chunks that loaded at the time thankfuly
  13. Just delete the worlds folders from the server and copy the worlds folders from your SSP world to the server. It wold be a good idea to make sure that the SSP world and SMP server are using the same build of Tekkit, otherwise some of your creations may behave strangely.
  14. Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3 Operating System: Mac OS X Snow Leopard Java Version: 1.7 Antivirus Program: Description of Problem: In SMP geothermal generators do not generate electricity with lava cells or lava buckets (haven't tried pipes). Worked fine in Tekkit 3.0.4 but since updating no longer works. Single player run on 3.1.1 build is fine, but not in SMP. Suspect it could have something to do with IC 1.97 included in 3.1.1, as opposed to 1.95 I was using before. Error Messages: Error Log:
