  1. Haha Also, if you're going to update now, I'll tips you to make as many ingots as possible before that, cause in the later builds you'll need diamond dust to refine it, since the enrichment chamber is outputting dirty obsidian dust, and you need to refine it in the metallurgic infuser with diamond dust. So basically you still need 3 diamonds for an obsidian pick, but that is also stronger so i suppose it's alright ;)
  2. That's a bug in one of the older version of Voltz. I don't really know in which update they fixed it, but I know for sure it's fixed in the 1.1.0 build. That version has some other crafting bugs(or that may be on the server I'm playing on, no idea.), but overall I find it more stable. Hope that helped!
  3. After updating to the new Technic Platform (have to say I love the new interface!), I've ran across a problem - it won't download the 1.1.0 version of Voltz, which my favourite server is on. 1.0.13 and everything below that works fine, but not 1.1.0. Basically, when i select the desired build(1.1.0), and hit login, it starts to download minecraft.jar. As it reaches 96-99%(and sometimes even 100), It begins to download mc.patch instead. That also reaches 96-99%, different every time. After that, it starts the cycle over with minecraft.jar, and this continues for 3 cycles, before I get this error message - Stack Trace: Exception: IOException Message: Failed to download Minecraft! Trace: org.spoutcraft.launcher.util.MinecraftDownloadUtils.downloadMinecraft(MinecraftDownloadUtils.java:93) org.spoutcraft.launcher.UpdateThread.updateMinecraft(UpdateThread.java:318) org.spoutcraft.launcher.UpdateThread.runTasks(UpdateThread.java:122) org.spoutcraft.launcher.UpdateThread.run(UpdateThread.java:107) Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? I've tried pretty much everything I could come up with - restarting launcher, the computer, updated java, redownloaded the launcher, placing the files from the old installation of Voltz(v1.1.0) into the new path, but nothing seems to work! I really want to get this fixed, so please be serious when responding. Thanks in advance! Edit: I've semi-solved this by using an old version of the launcher. For now, that'll do. Although I would still like a response if someone knows how to solve this on the new Technic Platform.
  4. I would like to get back some stuff that I lost during the update. for example, i lost 26 heat generators and a lot of coal coke. I know this isn't your fault, but still really annoying. Please contact me as soon as possible. Edit: now I also lost 2 HV capacitors when I accidentally installed the plasma cannon upgrade to my power tool. They just disappeared when i took it off again. Nevermind, read that there is a chance that the items disappear.
  5. Crafting with obsidian ingots is currently bugged, as of .11. Said to be fixed in later versions but nothing I can confirm.
  6. Guess I'll borrow this thread - is there any melee weapon more powerful than obsidian? I'm currently on .11 but should be moving over fairly soon. Thanks in advance!
  7. As said in the post, it doesnt work if im not using a second one. The pump operates if connected to either a red or green transformer, not all by itself. but since the battery box explodes if a green one is used, i decided to go for 2 red ones. no idea why this is, but thats how it is anyway
  8. Okay so ive been trying to set up a Hydrogen generator. I have 1 pump, 1 electrolytic separator and one hydrogen generator, with a transformer getween the cord from the generator and the cord to the pump, since it doesnt do anything if hooked up directly. When they are on their own, they work fine just fine, but as soon as i connect the battery box, it all messes up, and all power is put into the battery box instead of into the pump, regardless of differece in distance. however, if i put another transformer from the generator cord, it works and it splits the power evenly. Why is this? The setup to the right works and generates power(after a kickstart), the one to the right doesnt, it runs as long as the separator has water in its inventory, but then you need to refill it yourself. Why I want this to work with just 1 transformer is quite simple - a single transformer is more than 1 stack copper each, and i dont want to waste a stack for nothing. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? How do you set up your hydrogen generators? Thanks in advance!
  9. have to say this server is really awesome! :D
  10. Really awesome guide! I'll test this as soon as I get to the computer again ;)
  11. most of these things is quite complicated stuff. I wouldnt advice you to write an entire new plane mod if you dont have some java knowledge already. What you could try to do is to update flans mod yourself. Probably easier, but still a hard task :)
