I have 2 specific players that cant place blocks, open chests, or open doors. They also can not use chat except for /msg or /helpop. Sounded like lag issues to me. Which we are having today. I do /lag and where we are usually always sitting at 20 TPS we are getting as low as 13. Even after restarting everything and we are back at 20 TPS, the player issue persists. I checked around everyone and no one has any a quarry spilling out or pipes overflowing. We don't have world anchors except for a few in admin areas. Does anyone know what could be causing just these two players these issues even after lag seems to smooth out? Running 3.1.2 Plguins: Essentials LWC GreifPrevention WorldEdit disablecraft treeassist

Looking to setup some ranks on my server. Was point towards permissionsEx. Just a few questions that I hope someone could answer. Will setting permissions with PermissionsEx change any current playerdata? I use griefprevention, will adding someone to a rank change anything with their claims and protected lands? Which version should I be using for tekkit?

I always have mine in the walls with glass covers on the outer face. :/ works just fine with griefprevention not allowing block breaking :P

I have so many corrupted chunks in my server from losing power that almost every hour someone chases a pig into one and crashes the server. My server is fairly new so Im considering a reset to avoid these issues in the future. Ive asked my server what they thought and most are down for it if I can save player data/inventory. Could someone please tell me what files inside the world folder I would need to keep and replace? Quick layout is: World Name -data -enderstorage -players -redstoneether -region -(dat)level - level.dat_old -(dat)railcraft -session.lock -(dat)uid Ive never done this before so any help would be amazing appreciated. If it were up to me Id just start completely fresh but I don't want to screw the community I have in support of my server :/

Looked around, couldnt find anything. Downloaded the version for 1.2.5. Nothing. Can anyone link me to the correct version I should be using for my tekkit server running 1.3.2?

Had to reinstall plugins after a power outage corrupted most of my files. Anyways. Im using 3.1.2 The guys over in the ircc chat pointed me here http://ess.ementalo.com/viewLog.html?buildId=3805&buildTypeId=bt2&tab=artifacts&buildTypeId=bt2&guest=1#!auhej8m2ykjs,14i60 So Im using that version of essentials and /sethome wouldn't work, but than it corrected itself...some how. But /setspawn still says unknown command. Anyone ever run into this or have I been pointed to the wrong version.

Last night the hurricane knocked out my power shortly and crashed my pc. Now Im getting this console spam and I can't reach the server. If anyone can spot the issues here, I'd love you forever.

Ive never been able to OP the mod and have it work. Players on my server have all had to individually type /trust [buildcraft]. But Im also using griefprevention and have no towny experience :/

I just went from a wireless home server to a wired one. Now no one can connect to my server besides me through localhost. I thought maybe going wired had messed with some port forwarding but it seems nothing on that side has changed. Anyone have and idea what might be the fix for something like this? Thanks.

Just did this one tonight and it solved all the issues.

About every 3 seconds I get these 2 console messages and it is near impossible to follow anything in the console because of this. The Railcraft one is : Error loading Railcraft Save Data: Not in GZIP format. Is this fixed with a file delete and restart? If so which file exactly? The second one is Changing Slot error. Mostly happens when a player is around a factory using RP. I had read this is a tube issue and so far havent been able to fix it even with updates. Thanks for the help.

Anyway to make it work? I was hoping that playing tekkit on ssp instead of technic Id have a better chance of porting it over.

I know I know this should be known at this point but just a question on it. Is converting a SSP world to SMP world the same way as it is on vanilla minecraft? I couldnt get it to load so Im sure it was just a user error but wanted to make sure their isnt any special steps for tekkit. :/ Thanks

Yeah its obviously a matter tool. You can tell my the general shapes and the other types of blocks left behind. While I have banned matter tools my disablecraft seems to not be taking them out as contraband even though they are listed under the list.

Reventley Ive had some degenerate on my server griefing the spawn and player mall. Nothing major easily touched up. But annoyed at the fact hes doing it and the fact that I don't know who it is. I can narrow it down of course but Im not going to falsely accuse anyone. I looked into Logblock and Hawkeye but I dont have Mysql on my server.(home hosting) Should I find another plugin or just instal mysql. Ive got no experience with it so I figured Id ask here first. Nope didnt fix it. Any other version than 1.2 fails to boot the server. Even with putting 1.2 in the spam persist. Oh well.

Yeah I had opened the file up in another folder again to make sure I got rid of anything that might of been hanging around anywhere else. Re downloaded it fresh and still doesnt allow the server to boot.

Hmm maybe Im placing it in the wrong spot. But it failed to allow my server to start up.
