  1. Hello? I need a response please I've "cleared the line," I think. Just deleting the entire line yes?
  2. Sorry, I think it's just different. The dupes seem to be fixed, but the config is still ignored. I can't enable EE tools -.-
  3. Plugin added to server. Seems to ignore config, dupes still work and the EE tools are disabled, despite me setting that option to false..
  4. You NEED to add the option too disable/enable clicking EE tools. Many people don't want this feature disabled and it ruins the plugin for them. If a config file is too much, then at least give us an alternate download which does not have this feature. Thanks in advance EDIT: Thanks for the plugin too. I can confirm that your fix works. I hope we'll be able to see an option without EE tools disabled!
  5. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/fix-for-deployers-crashing-server-when-redstone-signal-is-applied-3-1-2.46250/ My fix for the deployer/redstone crash, stick this on the original post if you like.
  6. Hey guys, If you weren't already aware, an issue exists with Tekkit where dispensers will crash the server once a redstone signal is applied to them. This has nothing to do with redstone or dispensers themselves, but rather Balkon's Weapon Mod. This is what you'll see, or something to this effect: at mod_WeaponMod.dispenseEntity(mod_WeaponMod.java:622) at BaseMod.dispense(BaseMod.java:85) at cpw.mods.fml.client.FMLClientHandler.tryDispensingEntity(FMLClientHandler.java:411) at alj.c(BlockDispenser.java:172) at alj.a(BlockDispenser.java:266) I haven't done enough homework to know the story behind the dispenseEntity part of the mod_WeaponMod.class file, but it's pretty obvious that this is designed to alter the way dispensers work in order to allow vanilla dispensers to fire bolts and arrows etc., rather than just dumping them on the ground like a regular item. This is the issue that causes the crash - I don't know Java well enough to understand how and why this occurs, but I am capable of removing the code that causes it. Of course, this means that dispensers will NOT shoot crossbow bolts and other Balkon's projectiles in the same manner as arrows. This is the best compromise, however, as allowing it results in server crashes and the only other feasible solutions are removing the mod or banning dispensers. Disclaimer: Firstly, I apologise if a similar fix exists. I have scoured the internet and cannot find one. Secondly, use this edited mod at your own risk. I run it on my personal server and everything seems fine. Of course, feel free to run this on a test server to confirm that this is legitimate and safe. As always, BACK UP YOUR WORLD before using this .jar. Message me for "BalkonsWeaponMod1.2.5.jar" either here or at [email protected] and I'll gladly send it! - Drop this into your mods folder and overwrite the original. Happy Tekkiting! ~ Prez
  7. No unfortunately, however I THINK it's a little less frequent since disabling some features of tekkitrestrict. Crash logs seem to show TRNoDupe a lot, but I don't want to disable that... Are you running TekkitRestrict?
  8. Title: End of Stream appears in console and server appears as offline. Version: 3.1.2 OS: Linux, afraid I can't specify as it is an external host. Java Version: 7 Description of Problem: I discovered the other week that after a few hours, my tekkit server would suddenly appear as offline, showing the end of stream error in the console. The crashes would get more and more frequent until I decided to do a region fixer. This removed a lot of corrupted chunks, and the server ran fine for a day or so. The crashes then started again and have become more and more frequent. I'm thinking that it is not corrupted chunks causing the end of stream errors, but rather something else that happens to cause the corrupted chunks when the server crashes, as a nasty byproduct. Having said that, the server does not fully "crash". It still runs, just showing as offline. I am able to execute console commands and stop it properly, but nobody can connect with this error until I restart and have to wait for it to happen again. I have removed various mods that people claim to cause this issue but to no avail. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this? 9. Hey, sorry to bother but my server thread appears to have been approved yet I cannot see it in the relevant forum? I presume there is some sort of delay between it being approved and viewable in the forum or..? Thanks.

That's because it's 4 pages down, since you submitted it a couple days ago. You can look in your post history to find it, but the link is http://technicpack.net/forums/threads/3-1-2-novatekkit-pve-inc-pvp-worlds-60-slots-open-greylist-gp-iconomy-ee-nerfed.32179/
  10. As for all these "who cares" posts; I agree that this is unnecessary drama but... If this turns out to be more than hearsay, who cares? Large server owners like myself and many users around me. It's not as little a deal as you'd like to think..
  11. Hey, sorry to bother if you 're already busy for whatever reason. I posted a Server thread in the whitelist forum that's waiting for approval. I'm not asking it to be looked over right now, but what kind of time frame can I expect and are only the very best threads approved?

    Thanks in advance,

If you don't know and are signing your name then it means you probably haven't read anything in the "Mandatory Reading" section of the forums. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/rules-and-guidelines-for-server-posts.24957/ Doesn't give me hope for your server post.

I sign my name as a matter of courtesy on all my gaming networks, I wasn't sure of the etiquette here so I did it anyway. As for the thread, I did read it. Very thoroughly infact - I only read the OP as I didn't think there would be anything below it, but now I see. Sorry for the avoidable post.

  13. I'll take a look at that, though I'm sure WorldGuard has the capability? I don't want to unnecessarily use another plugin. Also, sorry for the bump. Didn't know it was against the rules.
  14. Hello all. My dilemma is pretty simple to explain... Using worldguard to blacklist world anchors (214) also blocks anything else in the 214 line. This includes infernal brick and block of concrete, just for reference. Any suggestions? I tried blocking 214:0 though I didn't expect it to work really, lo and behold...it didn't.
