You can tell them no and just walk away. Because you have the right. If a police officer with a warrant tells you to empty your bags then you do not have the right to walk away. That a school has the right to decide who can and cannot be on their private property does not rob you of any factual rights. You still have every right as granted by the constitution and bill of rights.

School personal cannot search you or your bag without a warrant. You can voluntarily submit to a search however and they can no doubt kick you out for refusing.

That has nothing to do with you losing a right. It just means that the school has the right to kick you out of its own private property. Just like I can kick you out of my house whenever I feel like it. It doesn't mean you signed away your right to free speech when entering.

Do you even know what rights are? They are protection to you from prosecution by the government. Freedom of speech for example protects you from being jailed for expressing an opinion. The school cannot take away this right. They cannot have you thrown in jail for expressing an opinion.

You can voluntarily choose not exercise those rights in order to go to the school but the school can't take them away.

Wrong on all accounts. The school cannot make you be catholic and you have all the same rights. It just has the right to kick you out for not following its rules. What on earth would make you think a school can circumvent the constitution when not even the supreme court can. The school has the right to expel you from the premises and that's it. You still have free speech within the premises but they have the freedom to kick you out for not following the rules.

Except that this is not a public area and its not the government who are imposing rules on what you may say. You are free to say what you want here without federal prosecution but the people who run the forum are also free to ban you for it.

Unless you turn in the wrong direction and a corner of a chunk that covers a piece of water pipe stops animating. Creating an air bubble in the water system that then makes all the engines overheat. Or maybe the mod just doesn't feel that a combustion engine on a water pump is enough to provide water for 4 combustion engines that are six blocks away Build craft has some nice ideas but if you have a normal size base and acquire water from not even a too remote location then the whole setup could blow up just from going into the wrong room. However as support pipes for IC machines it works decently. I do feel that they could have cut down on the requirement for redstone engines everywhere. Those things look like crap. Buildcraft has a lot of good concepts. I love the idea of pumping oil but the way its designed it requires enormous machine rooms to do on a more concentrated scale. While at the same time it punishes you for working on larger areas by requiring every single little piece to be animating to not make the whole system collapse. Not to mention the combustion engines requiring water to not explode is completely unreasonable. Its a whole extra logistics nightmare and it makes wherever you take the water from look like ars because of how much water it takes.

And in the big irony of it all the BC combustion engines are about ten times as unstable as a randomly thrown together IC nuclear reactor and a big mess at that. A minecraft block has 6 sides. The BC combustion engine needs one side for water, one side for fuel one side for redstone power and one side to actualy give the power it generates too. BC contraptions look pretty bad to begin with but after its all set up they look like someone vomited in a lego bucket. On top of being prone to random explosions.

What happens to all the EE items already in the game?

I run tekkit on my server but the new version also came with EE. Long story short, a day on the server and every moron is running around with ten thousands diamonds. People aren't even playing any more. They don't fight or farm or mine or build. They just sit in their houses all day cooking diamonds. Any easy way to disable it without breaking the server or the map?

Re: Industrialcraf comes with exploits that can cause severe problems in multiplayer Thaumcraft as is. Is a lot more unbalanced than anything IC or BC can do though. yes UU matter can be used to create some things. Not even a lot of things but some things. It used to be able to make uranium but that recipe was removed for the very reason that it was unbalanced. It can make diamonds at the cost of some 9 million power (2-3 uranium worth depending on reactor design) or you can do it with 288 scrap and 1.4 million power (36 stacks of recycled materials) Which is a lot of work and resources. Sure there's room for a bit of tweaking there in my opinion but Thaumcraft is unbalanced to the point of game breaking in a multiplayer setting and the fact that technic pack is downloaded from the tekkit link made it a reasonable concern of the effects thaumcraft would have in a future MP release. Personally I suggest taking down the tekkit client download link to not give the impression that its tekkit people are downloading. That the mod says "technic" in the banner of the launcher makes little difference since this is the first iteration of the launcher and people have not seen it or used it with tekkit and the fact that its downloaded from "technicpack.net" makes it even more confusing.

I consider permissions a bloated piece of garbage and I avoid its use at all costs. My server has 2 user groups. Admins with all the power and regular users with regular power. Replacing command book with essentials caused no problems on my server so far. Worked for about 2 weeks until buildcraft collapsed the entire server but that was hardly essentials fault.

I feel like Tekkit really needs this mod. I mean you get severely overpowered equipment like quantum armor (making you practically immortal as long as you have power. and nano sabers and laser rifles but your enemies remain the same weak ol zombie+skeleton+creeper. At least Mo creatures contain things like ogre mages and all kinds of poisonous, flying, fast aggressive stuff that gives the new weapons and armors a purpose rather than just one shotting other players from 20 meters.

But feel free to keep trolling this abandoned thread.
