  1. The tekkit client download is the technic launcher.
  2. So its in the tekkit launcher but wont be in the server version software then?
  3. Lets do the basics first. Thaumcraft is based around a unit of energy known as "vis" Vis in Thaumcraft can be used for many things. Among them make powerful weapons, even grenades that when thrown inflicts massive damage on everything in the area. These things are made with common materials and vis. It also comes with a machine known as a Thaumic Duplicator. Its uses vis as fuel to duplicate items in the game. This works on nearly all items in the game plus items that come with other mods. It can for example duplicate uranium. Thaumcraft also comes with a machine known as a Vis Condenser. Which is a zero maintenance machine that creates vis crystals which can be turned into large amounts of vis. This machine is made using gold, obsidian, stone and a vis crystal and requires no maintenance or fuel. It just sits there making free vis crystals all day long and its made to work with buildcraft pipes to transport the crystals So once you build a Vis Condenser it creates vis crystals which you can then use to build more Vis Condensers. As you build more you get a steady supply of vis crystals that can be turned into vis and then the vis can be used to duplicate pretty much anything you want like uranium or diamonds or ender eyes or metals. This is a self-sufficient infinite energy machine that just sits and creates whatever the owner wants in any quantity the owner wants just by standing around. Be it uranium for power or nukes or diamonds for weapons and armor and considering how cheap they are to build and the fact that the more you have the faster you can build even more just by duplicating the materials. The end result is that any player that builds 40-60 of these can essentially get all the stuff in the game they want for free in infinite amounts without any work. Even without the duplicator the "Stabilized Arcane Singularity" is a grenade created using 1 glowstone, 1 coal and then vis. When thrown the grenade draws all creatures and players nearby towards it. Does massive damage to them and creates a crater double the size of tnt. These can be mass produces with ease thanks to the vis condenser and the grenades stack high and can be thrown very quickly, causing enormous devastation in a few seconds.
  4. Re: 6 chamber Nuclear Reactor Setup Yeah but if I make a breeder I could just turn that thing into a whole reactor in itself for even more power and another depleted cell recharging. The depleted cell does not generate as much heat as the other cells so its kind of a "bonus" If you run a whole program the cooling devices stop short at about 2 mm HP when the Uranium cells are used up. I like my reactor low maintenance. so I pop in 3 Uranium cells and 1 depleted. 3 hours of running time plus say.... 1 hour for cooling and I just check on it every 4 hours to refill the uranium cells and pick out my free new cell. The less time I have to spend thinking about or working on the reactor the better. If I have to constantly work on the reactor and then a breeder reactor on the side then it losses its purpose as an out-of-sight-out-of-mind power source that lets me put all my time towards making use of the power.
  5. Re: 6 chamber Nuclear Reactor Setup I use this setup. The reactor is stable about 20 minutes longer than the Uranium cells can last and it fully recharges 1 depleted cell.
  6. The way I understand it is that (in)convenient inventory is not a modloader mod. Its just thrown in there. I tried the advice above. I found that technic launcher had its own folder next to the minecraft folder. Found modpack.jar in there and removes convenientinventory.class and so far it seems to have solved the problem. Personally I don't see the point of having it at all. The pack already comes with invtweaks and at least that one is optional.
  7. It makes it so shift-click doesn't stack items into containers or out of containers. This feature is changed to alt-click instead but it doesn't just move what you click on. It moves all objects of that type in your inventory. On top of that. Conventient Inventory considers all the IC cables to be the same item. So if you alt click copper cables into a chest it takes all cables, gold, iron, tin and then some tools and move it all into the chest or out of the chest. It also considers all redpower items to be the same so alt clicking some nicolite into a chest also moves all sapphires, emeralds, rubies, tungsten and so on into the same chest. The alt key also hangs up when you alt-tab out of the game so just clicking an item will move all of them into and out of chests. Or in my case clicking a uranium cell moved all the cells in my inventory into the reactor. Causing the cables to burn and a transformer to explode. I talked to the author and he says that this is mojangs fault and not his and he seems content with that "solution" No such jar. There are 4 jar files in total in the minecraft folder after installation. minecraft.jar lwjgl_util.jar jinput.jar lwjgl.jar I also don't see why this mod should be included without any option to disable it.
  8. You should connect the nuclear reactor to an MV transformer (reactor connects to the 3-hole side) Then connect the transformer with gold cable to an LV transformer (again the cable goes into the 3-hole side) Then you can pull copper cable from your LV transformer to your miner.
  9. need help here. This thing is totally ruining my minecraft experience and it doesn't come with an off button.
  10. Any advice on how to do this with the new version of tekkit? There's no "ConvenientInventory.class" in the jar file in this version but the mod is regrettably still being included in tekkit and without the option to turn it off.
  11. Convenient inventory and inv tweaks are 2 different mods. I never installed inv tweaks in the first place but there's no option to not install convenient inventory but its still there.   12. I've been having a ton of trouble with this. How do I remove or disable it?
