  1. Wow guys. Everyone except @Lothos seems to miss my point. But anyway, once again: Stop being mean to me. I thought it's a recommended build when I updated to 3.1.1 because it seemed so on the website. There is/was no warning or anything. Besides the update was necessary for us because we had performance issues and the mods contained in 3.0.3 aren't compatible with Spigot MCPC or CB++ MCPC.
  2. Yeah, I'll do that in future for sure. Also that the most servers run the "dev build" kinda proves my point. The entire playerbase I had on my Tekkit server was new and not on our forums. There is no way to explain them how to get on. Of course a few were able to use their brain. Anyway this was not about opinons. It's not promoted on the website as development build so it shouldn't be a dev build in the launcher.
  3. It got pretty empty on my server since I updated to 3.1.1/3.1.2 If you promote a update on your website you should also make it the recommended build in the launcher. Thanks.
  4. OK! The Spigot MCPC version work just fine with 3.1.1 not with the previous Tekkit version though, one of the mods is outdated. ^^
  5. Yeah I know that... All I need to do is replacing that with Tekkit? Last time I tried it, it gave me a bunch of errors and the server didn't start.
  6. How do I do that? Does someone have a Tekkit ready Craftbukkit++ version? Otherwise I would need a step by step explanation so I don't mess up. :S Thanks.
  7. I'm using no GUI, I'm running Tekkit on a root server. That's not my problem. I tried using the CB++ MCPC and the Spigot MCPC version but simply replacing it didn't work.
  8. Wow this is falling behind pretty quickly. I need a answer here, it's important for me.
  9. Hello, my Tekkit server is getting quite crowded and I need to optimize it. How can I use Spigot or Craftbukkit++ on my Tekkit server - What are the exact steps? Is there a drag&drop ready Tekkit version somewhere ? Thanks in advance!
  10. Ok, read a little on the forums and found out that "op [buildcraft]" might fix the problem, and it did. :)
  11. Title: Buildcraft devices not working Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4 OS: Ubuntu 10.4 LTS (64bit) Java Version: 7u5 Description of Problem: Buildcraft blocks can be crafted but quarrys etc. don't do their job. If you place a quarry the frame appears but if you attach motors and power them nothing else happens. Error Messages: None Error Log: There is this error at start ups... http://pastie.org/4268249
  12. Same, users report the it as well.
  13. Try if this works: http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,4728.0.html
  14. If you would figure it out, would you share it?
  15. I wish Tekkit was based of CB++.... This patch simply overwrites the ItemBlock.class
  16. Yeah I just read that in an other post. We found the solution on our own though otherwise I would give you credit, sry :P
  17. I created a new post. http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,4728.0.html
  18. This is a fix that solves the protection problem. It's also a "clean" way to patch as you don't have to open up Jars and replace stuff. 1. Download this file (TekkitPatch.jar) http://massiveminecraft.com/forums/uploads/TekkitPatch.jar 2. Put it in your servers root directory 3. Start the server via the TekkitPatch.jar like so: java -Xincgc -Xmx2G -cp TekkitPatch.jar:Tekkit.jar org.bukkit.craftbukkit.Main Change "-Xmx2G" to how much RAM you wanna allocate to Tekkit e.g -Xmx1G for 1GB ram. All credits go to shadowjay1, so eventully leave a comment saying: "Thanks shadow!" - If this fix is working for you. I hope this was helpful.
  19. One of our devs found a solution. The ItemBlock.class was missing a variable, replace the ItemBlock.class with the class file from Craftbukkit. Done.
  20. It's not a WorldGuard problem which you would know if you read the entire thread.
  21. I did. With latest Tekkit and recommended SpoutPlugin And it worked fine.
