I've given up hope of ever being able to run minecraft (even just solo or vanilla). Nothing works now. I started not being able to load the multiplayer screen server select. And now it won't even load vanilla. I don't know what to do.....we've done ALL the steps every half-nerd with a wiring fetish can throw at us and they can't figure it out short of a reformat (which I can't do because we don't have the windows discs) or a new computer (which is pretty much out because money is super low). I miss you guys and my builds!!!! :(

I've checked internet settings, deleted cache and redownloaded files. Deleted cache, deleted the launcher, restarted the computer, and then redownloaded the launcher, redownloaded the files, and still. I also checked internet settings in Java, restarted with a few changes, and nothing. Java is 7 and I know there's a known problem with Java 7 but it's worked on here before..... I just wanted to let you guys know I've not forgotten you....I just haven't been able to get on....I'm going to be making a bug ticket with tekkit people to see what they say....

The server seems to always be down. I mean it'll say "0 / however many" online and then I try to join and it ends the stream.

I found a crystal ball. In it, it showed me what will happen to Lars if he doesn't put me back in Creative Mode. Tragic.

Minecraft Username: Lady_StarFire Age: 25 Tekkit Experience: about a year of minecraft and half a year on tekkit. I've done pretty much everything except computer craft (yay for it being banned!) and some aspects of nuclear power, though I have toyed with it successfully. Ever been banned? Nope. Why This server? I'm looking for a new server. The one I've been on has a great community, but the owners keep adding anyone and everyone who applies and gets the server way way over crowded. As you can imagion, griefing becomes a problem when we get a new batch of newbies. Though they're very good about making things right, the server is just down way too much because of all this. I need somewhere that's on when I'm free to play and not overcrowded. Additional Notes: I'm not experienced in running a server, however going up in the ranks by earning my passage is important to me. I love helping others and will always share what I have if I have it.

lol they listened well. Besides Lars, we're a bit crowded on our server. And with it down all the time if too many with mega-builds are on, this crashing is causing chunks to become corrupt, causing more crashing. Don't we have a great community now already? I suppose it's all a moot point since the server has been down a while and we're resetting again in a week.

Down again. Seems to be a theme. I wonder what's causing all these connection issues? I bet it's not the server but the client. Though, with so many people making their own builds, even a couple of quarries lags the server down. It might be time for another restart and this time keeping the number of people down. Maybe?

Lars, I think we should consider not adding more people. The server downages seem to be related to how many people are on and ahve stuff built. Maybe keeping the list down to those already added/active and seeing if that helps? Just a suggestion. BTW, server is currently down :(

Anyone else not able to connect?

I uninstalled java, restarted, redownloaded java, restarted again. Then I deleted and redownloaded tekkit launcher. Then I noticed in the Options section on the log in screen there was a Clear Cache button and I forced redownload of all mod files. One of the above worked because now it works Thanks

Lol thank you. And I have deleted the launcher exe and vanilla mc launches just fine without the tekkit launcher. However, I will uninstall java and delete the launcher and reinstall everything (shutting down, counting to 15, and then restarting between each step) and report back.

I manage to log on for about 1 second and now minecraft won't even load, it just keeps crashing. Anyone else having this issue or is my computer hating on me again?

lol guys patience! He's rebuilding the world and will get everyone back on. Sheesh! You realize this is a free service he provides and that real life happens and it's not EASY putting together and maintaining a server. Have more patience guys ok?

I'm assuming that while re-doing the server I'll be re-whitelisted?
