  1. I will try keeping this short due of being tired looking for a suitable plugin. So, lets start explaining: We have serval ranks(groups), these are: 1-Default 2-Crafter 3-Technician 4-Alchemist 5-Scientist We have these groups with a purpose. Every rank they go up unbans an item for them. Another important thing to know is that we use inteherrance so permissions set at default are automaticly linked to all higher ranks. Here is an example: 1-Default (item: 1,2,3,4,5,6 are Banned) 2-Crafter (Unlocks item: 1 & 2 [ items: 3,4,5 and 6 remain banned ] 3-Technician (Unlocks Item 3 [items 3,5 and 6 remain banned] And so on. Now you understand this I might even explain it to you in more detail: Default: Interherrance: () Permissions: - Ban.item=1 - Ban.item=2 - Ban.item=3 - Ban.item=4 - Ban.item=5 - Ban.item=6 Crafter: Inteherrance: Default Permissions: - Unban.item=1 - Unban.item=2 Technician: Inteherrance: Crafter Permissions: - Unban.item=3 Note: We use Groupmanager So what we are looking for is a plugin wich has a BAN permission and a Unlock permission. We already got disablecraft to disable recpies but we want to ''BAN'' the items too. So if a crafter gives item 1 to default, it will turn into dirt for example. Please, dont come with ''Noitem or Tekkitrestrict" We tried both plugins without succes. So, please help us out. We have been paying and paying for months and months, asking questions to authors didnt recieved anwser over 2-4 months and counting... So, I dont know any solution anymore except for posting this. I really, we really hope you guys are able to help us, many, many thanks in advance if you do!

I could make a video using worldpainter, just making a simple map on my way without voice or something but just so ya see how I do it step by step, seems like somehow these volcanos doesnt appear so often when im doing it, Hmm wait lets make 2 maps instead, one with a huge amount of volcanoes Ill share this video only with you because I like the map to be as unique possibil So in the end only you know how I do it :P
  3. Thats kinda what I understood from it, used //copy //paste before so I know how to do and how it works And yes im known with the lagg problems but I didnt had much trouble with it before, Guess it will occure when i copy/paste the region in the screenshot above :P
  4. Oh! Now i see, So basicly if I understood it well: Make an huge ocean using Worldpainter (already did this and managed to put 1 biome (the hell on earth biome) in it ) next thing, placing for example "biome2" into the region files (which will overwrite mfc.0.-1, mfc.0.-2, mfc.0.-3 for example) then simply copy this biome to where ever I want it in the map whereafter I'll put biome3 into the region files and repeat the previous actions until I have all the biomes in it. (In your case you will put the spawn at last at region mfc.0.0, or whatever the first generated region is named like. But I have the main world and survival world seperated in the server to prevent griefing ('"world" got near to 0 permissions and is double protected with "factions" and "'worldguard", This makes it possibile to unban nukes for the survival world as example wich will attract people to come on the server, we are also planning to make a Donator world where they can build their homes, this map will not ever be regenerated so they will always keep their homes even when we switch to tekkit lite for example) Anyway could I take a look at your server, we might could share some Idea`s and even cooporate, never heard of it before so why not try (altough I need to discuss this with the co-owner) If it succeeds we could say that we have mutliple servers. Just an spontane idea Oh about worldedit crashes, 1000x1000 blocks are handled with ease, I've once editted like 300 million blocks with lagg for about 5 seconds XD Oh yea and about the caverns, got another tip for you, I had this issue that I wanted big caverns and not those small ones wich once appeared. Just manualy paint the chasms and let the caverns out. Also when you export your map decheck chasms and caverns, Like this: (Oh ye, use ''cracks'' brush to manual paint chasms, this will even make mining harder ) Note: And if you want absolutely 0 volcanos, decheck "use lava instead of water" set the "floodlevel" to 8 which will fill the caverns with water so lava cant ever spawn. Oh ye, and remember where ever is a lava pocket underground generates a change of having a volcano on top

' Yes, I've noticed this, and there is certain a way to even more increase or descrease the spawn rate of them as you see in Hell on earth there are even more volcanos in opposide of theother maps i made. When you export the map simply click flood caverns and set it to 0, on hell on earth i've set flood caverns (with lava instead of water) to 20. Vulcanos spawn above lava chunks. So if you remove the lava chunks by this there will not spawn a single volcano. The problem i'm facing is that i cant put all the maps togheter into 1 single map for example, putting the regions togheter wont work because they all have the same name. Scematics doesnt work either because the map file is too large or some errors show up saying that there arent any dimensions. I assume i could fix this with merging the maps into each other but this also comes with alot of errors. So if you know a better way to do it, please tell me Greets

  7. Oh, didnt quite understood what you where trying to say with "main reason being is i dont like the idea of pretty much every safety mechanism relying on the output of the reactor."

  9. Hello everyone, Due of a host error I could not make the 2400eu/t Tutorial at the moment so I've planned something else instead: Terraforming survivalworld. In this topic you can follow and might also be able to download the ''Biomes'' I will make, I will put these Biomes into the Survival map on our server. The estimated amounth of these ''special biomes'' will be around 50. Each biome will cover a 600x600 area at minimum. These biomes will be created by Worldpainter, generated by tekkit, smoothed with singleplayer commands and merged by MCEdit. I've managed to create 7 out of 50 biomes so far, here are the screenshots: [biome3] Hell On Earth [biome2] [biome1]
  10. @adolf hamster, last conclusion is correct got 2 HV transformers attatched which split the output. Also had the mk3 charging bench but 2 hv transformers are way more efficient :)

Thats true, but I like they removed most of EE, like redmatter amour and the condensors. it requiers much more thinking and work, for example you need to hook up like 3 quarries to a filter which takes uranium to the uranium cell factory which derects them to the reactor itself. Unfortuanly banning EE from our server (the condensors) would mean there will be less people playing on. But the fact we cant max out anymore, like reactors... Thats a shame =/ So, the more complicater it gets the more I like it but do not ever make things Impossibile compared to the previous versions because thats just a same Oh, just to make clear we still have tekkit classic :P
  12. @theprolo Ye, that would be cool indeed but does this update also counts for tekkit classic? And @adolf hamster, in tekkit lite you cant cool your reactor with ice anymore, and/or water buckets =/
  13. [What happend before:] Ok, its been 2 months. Soon even 3 where i spend loads of USD to keep this server up and running. But without having it open to the public because as the title says, errors above errors pile up. So, I wont bother you guys with a long story so ill keep it short. 2 months ago Tekkitrestrict made a mess of our server because somehow it suddently didnt ''banned'' the banned items anymore. We where forced to put the server down, next thing we did is asking the tekkit restrict author which didnt answerd for over 2 months now, even with PM we didnt recieved a message back. But, ofcourse after 1 week waiting we decided to move on with disablecraft. Which didnt worked either, but thats the least of our problems (altough the author didnt replied same as the author for tekkitrestrict) Next thing, the host where upgrading to new ''hardware'' servers. So we where transferred to another system. And guess what! Another error, a big one this time. All the world maps where corrupted so I had to replace these files with a backup of my computer with the result: All the ocean regions (where the spawn was located in) where surrounded by land! Took me a day or 3 to fix this with worldpainter (map uploading to ftp server costs 3 hours) And now... The actual problem: I was ''fixing'' the spare land regions around the ocean spawn area with worldedit. This causes a crash because i Editted an too big area. Ok, weird... People are saying I need to erase this? A Minecraft Server server-ip=91.121.82.84 server-port=25565 In the server.properties file? But how comes that It have been running for uhm, over 10 years with these properties included? and only now this problem has came up sudo killall java and setting server ip + server port to blank didnt helped.
  14. haha, full load all the slots So there isnt a way to beat the output, except it you have an reactor with 7 chambers which isnt possibile :P

Didnt had time to make the tut about the reactor because I was managing the server the whole weekend, due some ''Host" error the main world was corrupted so I needed to replace the world regions. Where a bunch of art creations where made, art with a purpose. Anyway when i've put the regions into a new map other chunks (other then ocean) where created around the spawn and events wich looks ugly. So downloaded worldpainter and make an ocean map, still godda clean some lands by hand, its too much to explain so Lets just say I godda transform like 30 chunks from all sort of biomes to ocean. Or i could make a verry nice terraformed land. Which will look cool at the world map. Any help is welcome Pm me if you like to help out [if you got skype this will be an advantage which helps to work faster]

Haha, Didnt said it was the first one And even if I did, didnt knew there where more posts about it I've looked like everywhere on reactor tuts and picked bit by bit from many diffrent explainations, found just 1 video tut for 2400eu/t reactor But making the reactor itself is simple, trying to acomplish a self subtaining reactor is more diffecult and all the extra`s besides that is starting to get hard, for example What if someone came along and pull all the ice out, destroy blocks overheat and so on, I've calculated a dosin of sutch factors in the fail-save program For example, a forcefield around the forcefield generator which is also around the reactor only accesable by computercraft with another forcefield covering those 2 forcefields so there isnt a block in the way of the forcefield so people cant quickly trow dynamite in after destroying one of those blocks which is in the way of the forcefield. That makes it an grief save reactor exept one small thing how about all the levers? coolant supply and so on. Its not really the reactor itself it are all the mecanics behind it (note: i dont have a forcefield around a forcefield around the reactor around whatever)

  18. Oh gosh, ok but with creative XD Uhm, never builded a frame airplane haha Hmm, wel lets see Oh wait! NooO!!! BEAT THIS! Muhahaha! (last part is HUGE frame made castle totaly hidden underground and comes up when pressing a button etc (Builded this in the first week of tekkit) Oh, I didnt know that!   19. haha, im not that fond of frame motor airplanes, But how about packback-grief with an nuke reactor (because nukes theirself are banned) attatched to a frame machine moving over/in enemy faction ground? Or use fillers, builders outside the faction but their demolision, build ground over the enemy faction. Perfect way to get in to an enemy base and in case of forcefield? Just use tube forcefield to penetrate it Got some knowledge about it because im running a server with a friend of me, godda know everyt extreme grief tool etc etc but much isnt banned because many dont have the knowledge, griefing isnt forbidden too because its impossibile to stop it for 100% But we got alot of measure's and plans which makes it all good Oh, wanna take a tip from me build 10.000+ coordinates (underwater is best) without putting a forcefield or faction up. So even when somebody flies over they dont know you re beneath them and I got a system which detects players near my base Will explain it all in the tut
  20. Well, what sounds better? Geometral Generator Plant or Nuclear Reactor Plant, that why the first ''experimental'' thing in tekkit was a reactor and when I found out about more efficient ways of generating Eu the challenge took over wich has come to its end by now :)

  22. @Guagadu, I will see what i could do, Might even put everything in (redwire meganisms, computercraft, cooling meganism, uranium factory.. Just everything) But im not promising anything =P @ValkonX11 Oh, yea the mfsu redstone output is bugged so I use a eu detector cable for that, the only benefits I get with it is saving up uranium cells and ice XD But that will come in handy with the new tekkit =P By tha way, just tried it (in creative for a sec) and it works indeed! just got a reading above 5000 eu/t.. like WOW! [Edit] That shurely looks beastly
  23. Oh wait ofcourse... It tried to give energy true the one dotted side connected to the top reactor chamber (godda test this out!) Oh and.. The forcefield makes it impossibile to go around corners without cutting the insulated wires thats why I added those little cubes

Oh, shure man Wanted to anwser everyone but ill do it next time in 1 post =P @valkonX11 Oh, tekkit lite or something like that (im playing tekkit classic so this update wont bother me at the moment. Im also using energy condensors to make uranium etc when we update I'll bee needing tons of quarries to get enough uranium cells haha, would be fun tough. And for the new reactor thing, I will find out a way to get it maxed up somehow if there exist a way And for the parralel HV setup, yes i tried Uhm, lets make an example! (give me a minute) Well, here the basic HV-Transformer setup as I used to have it (still blows them up) And as you can see here input/output side`s are correct:
