Totaly correct, I've set the Ice supply line timer on 0.400 which is the most efficient timer rate and got the reactor automaticly filled with full uranium cells, if their depleted an retriever pulls them out and drops those into lava so it wont become laggy over time. And reactor mechanics overhaul? You mean upgrading to tekkit lite? Well my previous setup was more tricky then this. Same setup and also infinite loop (a computercraft program keeps the amount of ice on 448 which is 7 stacks of ice lined up on the side. Eventualy it will lose efficientcy because ice will be randomly put at the places where depleted uranium cells will be pulled out. Another problem i was facing is that my HV-transformers keep blowing up in trying to find a solution to fix this (even when i had 2 hv transformers on it at startup they just blow up but with infinite loop I wont ever need to turn the reactor down without being worried it will blow up so that wont be a problem when its 100% infinite loop wich it is now) I could redo a video and explain more with talking if you guys should really like (guess i will do that in creative by the way) [Edit] Almosth forgot to mention, when all mfsu's are full now and extra mfus's in the future it will turn off and Ill need to manual restart the reactor (manual safety measure because when adding HV-Transformers they might blow up and I want to be there when this happens, Oh and it happend alot before! You dont want to know how many HV-transformers i've crafted. Godda make a factory on that!) But thats not everything, I could even turn the manual switch on or off. It's off at the moment because I dont have HV transformers to take out the power (that transformer thingy in the video is a real meganism of blue lapiz energy crystals which charge up at the reactor in a mk3 bench which can take 3000+ eu/t because a HV can only take 2048eu/t. The laptron cystals will discharge at the transformer station into glass fibre cable. Should not lose eu/t but I assume it does anyway.
  2. It can run uhm, for ever without overheating cooldown is like 1 second and the video does not really shows the setup of the reactor, just the end result. I could make a tut on that and other designs
  3. Valkonx11 got it right, Im using the MFFS heat controller, pumping it full with ice which is quite an easy setup. (it takes like uhm 1 second to cooldown and got an infinite loop) Before this setup I had 7 ice in it and full automated. That was an tricky setup until I found about the MFFS heat controller (you need to have reactor forcefield projector on, otherwise the MFFS heat controller wont work) If you take a close look to the video you will see that im using the MFFS heat controller. I can do mutliply tutorials on reactor designs but Ill come back to that in the reply on valkonX11
  4. Remember having this weird bug before, A full reinstall will probaly fix it but I'll advice to wait for another solution because I can't guarantee that im correct.
  5. All the info about the reactor is find in the video but that wont let me telling some extra info. Except experimenting this reactor was totaly made in survival with 2 fails included (speaking of ''Boom" fails. Building the reactor was the easy part, putting the redstone devices and inventing them was harder togheter with the computercraft setup wich isnt showed in this video. Total time to build, came up with idea`s cost me about 1 year. You might think thats long but im counting the time to figure everything out wich includes tons of reactors. Besides that, completing this in 1 month is a no-life job where I didnt felt attracted to. Hope you liked the vid, want a tutorial on like ''everything?"   6. I Guess I had the same error, this might work: Backup your saves and delete the technic folder located at appdata. Just delete it all, reopen launcher and launch classic then put your saves back in the new generated technic folder
  7. Well, I've understood everything in a blink of an eye, if there are convert errors i could fix them myself but I've got another problem, it gives an error and said it made an errorlog, uhm where?

Oh, alot of commends to anwser to, well lets start with @Viktor_berg Thats a pretty nice idea, lets cover it all up then, it will be some work but worth the effort. @Zarb I builded undergound, not underneath a swamp biome but underneath the ocean in a custom made biome (verry fancy etc, improving the server with huge secret cave systems with their own ecosystem) So, like 90% of the area im building in is Jungle and 10% ocean. By the way I didnt set up a shop XD its a home with next to it a huge reactor where those slimes spawn. But now you mention about biomes, they dont seem to spawn in the Jungle biome so making it a jungle biome should fix it. I remember there is a legit way to change this with terraforming which I will apply, if this doesnt work I will place panels and covers everywhere on the ground which also gives it a fancy look, 2+'s @theprolo Thats would be awesome indeed but remember mojang letting the red dragons out of the most resent update, technic may think otherwise of this and put them into the mods! large flying dragons in the main world, that would be awesome!   10. Hello everyone! Well, I remember a time, long ago that I really liked to came across a slime spawn but times have changed, since the moment we switched the server from minecraft to tekkit I rater see them as a messy problem swarming every single home I made which is really disturbing me. As I guess we all know that interdiction torches dont work with slimes but that is about the only knowledge I have about them except that they could be easy killed with Tesla`s. But setting up a whole network with tesla`s seems verry power consuming and most will now even have the resources for it leaving the mess of eu and redstone cables. So what I'm asking here is an alternative way to get rid of slimes. If anyone has idea (no matter how big or complicated it may fit as a part into a system which will work) note: im aware that I could change this in the server files, somehow. But I want to do this legitly and not spoil the gameplay for others on the server. Thanks for reading this if you did, any advice is welcome!

  13. @Teraku, I guess we are mis understanding each other, If i write the programs on the computer in the startup they stay, but if i put in a floppy into the disk drive, put an monitor next to it and open it up the program is loaded without any commands needed. If i put out the floppy and log in whereafter logout all the data on the computer is gone because it has not been saved on the computer but start up from the floppy as soon as someone load the chunk where the computer is in. Anyway, made quite some progress do you know anything fun left to do? or some codes to control my reactor even better. Might make a topic about it and a tut how to build a reactor like mine (can leave it alone, provides 2030EU/t is fully ''noob'' failsave except for a highly secured computer program to take out 64 ICE if there is a mallfunction. and is fully protected with everything possibile attatched without any wireless redstone signals so no one can do harm from the outside. And im pretty proud about it :)

  15. I ment all of you ''guys'' not guy I had some problems with programming because I monsly saw the wrong ways to do it. So it was kinda hard to figure out whats correct, now i have a straight line to follow
  16. It's quite logic, but yes i've explained it wrong. I ment the computer resetting because i didnt had a floppy in the drive and nothing was saved in the startup. Thats why i've asked how to copy a floppy to the computer startup. Anyway thanks guys! im finaly getting started off learning about computer craft. Soon I will be making my own programs Dont even need to read the codes anymore, remember how to do it. All I need was a good start and thats exacly what you guys provided me :D

  18. Oh by the way, I logged out and in while having all the programs on a floppy, so everything had been reset, how do i instal a floppy into a computer so the floppy is not needed anymore and everything is in the startup?
  19. Hmm, this will do then, i will also try to set up a reactor control room with this, Kinda maxed out my reactor skills except for CCsensors with Computercraft. That would be nice but it will be hard compared to this code

  23. Hello, I like to keep this short and clear so its easy readable. We experience a problem with craftOS on our multplayer server, this problem does not occur on singleplayer where everything works as it should work. I've followed a bunch of tutorials (craftos1.3) to set up diffrent programs, none with succes. I either tried tutorials listed on wikicraft wich should work, and as far i've searched on the internet, posts and topics I didnt found the problem. Thats why I think the problem lies in the root of the mod. Here a screen of the program I created, the tutorial i've followed and the error which keeps showing up.   24. Guess its a matter of re-installing redpower itself, if its a plugin. Lack of memory at this time. I will let you know when we fixed it :)
  25. Title: Redpower Control (RP Computers) Version: 3.1.2 OS: Windows 7 (64bit) Java Version: 64 Bit Description of Problem: The following problem only occures in our server. When we try to make/grab/copy or create the Redpower computer with worldedit and/or in creative and survival It automaticly logs us out from the server. When we try to create it with worldedit it says ''Unknown Block ID'' This counts for all the redpower computer applications. (so all blocks of rp Computer) We skipped the problem because we tought the Other computers will work. And yes, they spawn, we can create them. But we cant program anything. It keeps saying there is something wrong in the startup. Which is not because we followed the tutorials step by step. (These errors dont occur in singleplayer or any other minecraft server) We have All mods installed (for as far i know) No mods turn up red when we type /pl Error message (Rp computers) Internal exception: java.netSocketExeption: Software caused connection abort: recv failed Thanks for reading this bug and helping us out with this, if you do.
