Protecting spawnpoint from explosions?
Clawx207 replied to DrBreadgun's topic in Server Op Swap Shop
lol you can try the forcefield mod but when 'friends' tried to test it, the result wasn't very great. Also i discovered last night that if you do /icbm, you get commands that can protect from all types of damage >.< it works really well too, try it out! -
Another option for this if you want to be the 'justified' admin, you can install a plugin called, entityadmin, which allows you to delete any entities. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/clearentity/ So say theres 3772957382 items droped on the ground You can do /clearentity item (worldname) Perfectly safe plugin and one hell of a clean up tool! ;)

Can place blocks but can't interact with in Inventory

Never even heard of an issue like this xD. Forgeessentials is an optional coremod for voltz and tekkit lite so dont worry about them. Im guessing from what you have said, you are not using any plugins(correct if im wrong). So either you did something in your settings, or theres something up with your player.dat which you can find in your world folder in the player directory. If you want to try to reset it you can just delete it, but be warned, once you delete it, when you log in again, it will start you off with nothing. Other than that, thats the best i can think of, check all of your possible server settings. *according to one of my idiots -erm- friends, you can click alt while in your inventory and that fixes it, i dunno, pressing q never did anything for me -
Protecting spawnpoint from explosions?

Voltz is one of the most challenging servers you can make due to the ICBM mod. As zeus said, you can use worldguard with the bukkitforge plugin system, but due to bukkitforge being beta, it only protects against player interactions. No current plugins or server mods are able to protect against voltz explosions, the best chance would to cleverly use world guard to keep bombs away from the spawn, and use emp towers+radars to defeat any missles. As for normal explosions such as creepers and tnt, use essentialsprotect and you can disable many explosion threats. Hope this helps ;)
