How about google dns techpack, download dns techpack, then install dns techpack, then you have all the mods that dont want to be in tekkit!

I'm running on a laptop with mobility radeon 3xxx series, haven't done a hardware test, but I gave up on Tekkit, and am using DNS Techpack now, no issues so far. Also, I've been playing all my other games issue free. Also many are having this problem, so please stop blaming our systems because the problem is happening to all kinds of systems.

Well, I know it doesn't look good having this pink baby and being a "jerk" and you don't have to believe me about this, but I had already given up trying to get help when I started having these pointless argument with Jorcer and Ash. By that time, I had looked at a lot of threads, about my TWO issues, some people had been having one of them for some time and they still didn't get a resolution. Whilst going through these threads, I saw a lot of posts by Jorcer and Ash, and although those two may not have deliberately tried to piss these people off... they did, I'm definitely not the only one. I really can't be bothered going into it, I'm sure some of you know what I mean. Anyway, all this is elementary since I changed the server over to another mod, so we're busy starting from fresh. So you probably won't see me again. Tekkit was amazing while it lasted, just a shame it had to fall out with my PC. The only thing I will say, is they should charge a little bit of money so they can hire some proper support staff, I'm sure people would pay, at least I would. Anyway this new mod has forestry so I'm off to breed bees DNS techpack btw, wasn't gonna mention because I know you guys are very sensitive about it, but really you're all such asses I'm gonna have to advise everyone to get the DNS techpack which still has Forestry! I wonder why the guy took it out of Tekkit anyway?

Does this mean the original problem is definitely at Tekkits side? Did they update recently?

You are from the continent called North America, that makes you an American, as much as you'd like to deny that fact. How can I figure out they're 2 different things when I didn't even know that was something I needed to figure out? I've nothing else to do while I'm waiting for some things. BTW I really think we should stop posting on this poor guys thread, his heart will sink when he sees all these posts and no solutions. Ash, the post where I called my self stupid (ironically) is a response to the mods post, where he said stupid behaviour is rewarded with no help or something like that. Even if I didn't read the stickies, do you really think its the correct attitude in a support forum to just blank them or start messing with them because you think they're idiots? Oh, and Jorcer is not a woman, so that theory doesn't work, also the women in my life are lovely people.

Thats my point, at the point I made a bug report, I had already tried all the solutions given in threads, using google, and tried a few of my own theories. Then I was told I hadn't proven I'd done any work so I didn't deserve help (all because I posted in the wrong section) At that time, I didn't even know Technic and Tekkit were different things! So you guys had already assumed I was being lazy before any of this. And I have learned a lesson, never argue with an American, because no matter what, they will NEVER let it go.

I'm sure there is a thread explaining it somewhere, but I can't find it -.- Basically when I got this lovely avatar, it said "user was warned for this post", yet I never recieved any messages saying I've been warned, where do I find that? Its not such a big deal for me, but I saw this guys thread, hes obviously new and he quadruple (or more) posted, on his first double post it said user was warned. Anyway my point is, instead of just sticking a thing on the top of their post, why not send them a message fully explaining what the warning was for and how not to do it again, because with this guy its obvious he doesn't know what double posting is (some people don't use forums often and don't know these things) so just marking his post with "user was warned" didn't stop him. Also, unrelated but what happens when you ignore someone? Can they reply to threads you made still?

So what youre saying is, if their problem can't be resolved, it must be something they've done wrong. Thats the point where you start getting abuse, because it is very frustrating to have someone deny there could be a problem at the producers end, and put it all down to user stupidity. All arguing aside, take my problem for example: When I was trying to remove specific mods to see if they were the cause, people wouldn't tell me how because that couldn't possibly be the cause. Do you see how people might get annoyed at you for the way you reply to some threads? Or do you not realise? Think about it from the other guys point of view, they want to play this cool game, it doesn't work so they come here for help, its their first time at the forums (and these forums arent the easiest to navigate) so they make some mistakes making their report, and they don't get any help, just "don't double post" or "i would answer this if you used correct grammar". Thats very annoying, as this is the only place to get support for Tekkit. It's not your fault, it seems obvious to me that you are forgiven for arguing with Helen Kellers because you do 90% of the mods work, which makes the forums look bad because (I'm sorry but) you're not very good at it.

On the front page there is a changelog, but it only lists 1 update. Surely there have been more patches than this? I'm new to this game and am not really sure how it works, so don't get angry please:P

I had this, even if they are next to a world anchor it seems it will say 0 connected pipes if you're not within render distance. But they still pump to the pipes on the same frequency even if it says 0 pipes connected (for me at least).

Dude, the guys on this forum love it when you break the rules so they can all gang up on you, you're not supposed to make a new post for each new bit of info, use the edit post button and make updates on the same post. As for your problem, I have the same thing, and I've tried many solutions, it seems to be a common problem, although I don't think people realise, as it is difficult to describe (most people just assume I'm talking about standard lag). What I have tried so far: Reinstalling all involved programs (Java, Techniclauncher, and Minecraft.) Reformatting the PC and upgrading Windows (problem persists, which means it must be a hardware compatibility issue. I played around removing different mods and changing versions. There are probably a few more things I've forgotten (been a few days), but I think it's something to do with hardware. Interesting you found those Java logs, can you tell me how to find them? I'm going to make a bug report in on that link. You can find the techniclauncher logs by searching for %appdata% (in the start menu search bar) then techniclauncher/logs. Although I didn't see anything useful there. Out of interest what graphics card do you use? If we have the same brand that could be the link (Mine is ATI radeon hd). Also I should warn you, you may get some angry replies from users named Jorcer and Ashzification, try your best to ignore them.

What graphics card do you use? A lot of people have started having problems recently, I'm not sure if our problems are the same, but I think AMD recently released an update for the ati graphics card. You can probably tell I don't really know what I'm talking about, but I'm clutching at straws now. Also, I have a slow computer (256mb gfx card, 3 gigs ram and 2 ghz processor) and before I had no problems with pipes or liquids, but my friend made a cobblestone producing machine using lava and water, and that did effect me greatly.

First they say reinstall, then turn off avg and stop using ie, then when someone suggests the fault may be at the devs end, they get angry and start arguing. Well, I have to say it is a bit confusing navigating these forums at first, having to find out what all the abbreviations mean and whatnot, but I guess the fact is this mod is free, and they do not need to cater for people who don't know how these things work. I don't think learning to solve problems like in real life is a good analogy as most people call someone out in real life too :P

Fact is, if someone asks for help and their help request isn't perfect, then they don't get help. Then they get frustrated, which is exactly what you and jorcer want, because you are specifically here to "mess with idiots" as it says on jorcers profile. Do you really think you are making the devs and mods job easy by antagonising everyone that asks for help? I really don't know if its an American thing, but you guys really are very argumentative, even if I am in the wrong, most people wouldn't bother getting into it like this with some random person for no reason. It seems obvious that you cannot resist replying to every comment I make. And for the record, Jorcer did make one helpful post, but you, Ash, have added nothing constructive whatsoever, so I don't know where this "we" business is coming from. And of course I'm still hoping for a new solution, as it is a good modpack (gameplay wise), and more importantly there are almost 10 other people hoping I get this fixed so we don't lose our world. Now will you please just leave it and stop fuming about something that happened days ago, and leave it. And whats more, I beg of you, please, if someone makes a help request, only post in their thread if you can help them, and stop arguing with every person on these forums.

Skeptmist, thats so typical of these forums, if something doesn't work then "1. you dont know what you're doing. or 2. you've done something wrong during download". Which is simply not true. I cannot be bothered to argue with you, as I don't even play this modpack any more due to its unstability and complete lack of help from the community. There are one or two helpful people but most have your attitude (if it doesn't work for you, you must be stupid.) Which is an attitude I have never seen in a support forum before. The fact is there is something stopping people from being able to run the .exe and its not because they're using IE. Also the interesting fact is that I don't have trouble downloading anything else, including the other modpacks. AND I was playing Tekkit for 2 weeks and I decided to reinstall and thats where I ran into this problem.

Well, thats not true because I have this problem and I have only ever used IE once, and that was to download Firefox.

I love how I have been punished for swearing at you, yet you are specifically here to "mess with idiots" and you are fine...... Also, now you can stop replying to me, I'm bored of you and my heart sinks every time I see the alert is not a solution to my problem.
