found ultimate solution although requirements are:minecraft vinnila(not on launcher not that one) and winrar/7zip. this is what you do: by: Mikael2933 steps: 1. go to C:\Users\(User)\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\tekkitlite and copy all the files. 2. go to C:\Users\(User)\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft and paste in all the files. 3. go to bin folder and right click on minecraft.jar and modpack.jar and open it with Winrar etc. 4. copy all files from modpack.jar to minecraft.jar. 5. Delete META-INF 6. start minecraft and it should work. steps: 1. goto C:\Users\(User)\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\tekkitlite and copy all the files. 2. goto C:\Users\(User)\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft and paste in all the files. 3. goto bin folder and right click on minecraft.jar and modpack.jar and open it with Winrar etc. 4. copy all files from modpack.jar to minecraft.jar. 5. Delete META-INF 6. start minecraft and it should work. --------------------------------------------- ITS CASE SENSITIVE! as in when you write 'modpack' dont write mod pack.

BEHOLD THE GENIUS! it worked but too bad i can only play through mine craft(cus i also wunt to be able to play volts without having to do any file switching.(trying to put the .minecraft folder still wont make tekkit light work ) So thank you for solving this damned problem, just gotta see if it'll work with voltz now go spread the word to the poor o'l people who don't know, i'll help! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

the one that created the crack has to update it...btw you dont just say things like that.

I use .jar to get the launcher while there is no .exe file of the launcher that or i don't know how to convert it from .jar to .exe being there is no options to do so, even in 'open with' there is no way i would know where to go to get the program to run as a .exe that or there isn't a .exe file copy of the launcher. that or im just dumb(lol) and don't know what your talking about but im sure i do.

if its a suggestion topic then change the tag from launcher to suggestion, if there is one.

idk how to get rid of it but if your good with trial and error and coding maybe you can go to the coding and find the one cussing that to pop up and change it to not pop up, its like the limit of how much memory can be used which is about 1.5g's, you just can't change it without going to the coding and changing it. btw im not an admin if you didn't notice that and i know nothing about coding but for something so new their has to be floors to it, just be happy it's playable...but think of the pop up as a ad. just there...cant do nothing about it.

im amazed you actually got an error log of that anyway no-one can get it over that much, its just set like that, not a glitch so idk how you actually got an error log...do you mean that you actually couldn't play on that much?

Or in the search you type that anyway it seams like your technic launcher didn't download fully or propperly that or you need to try and run it as administrator see if that works.

oh missed that well it sais 'Custom pack' and it means CUSTOM as in its entirely your choice of which version it is so in other words its most likely not ment to ask if you want to update that or its asking if you wunt to update a mod in another mod pack.

re-download technic by going to options then making it a lower type then go to 'yes' when it asks you if you wunt to update then wait till it 'updates' then put it back on the version you where using then wait till it 'updates' again and it should be fine. If that dosen't work then just re-download the launcher by deleting it then re-download.

don't worry about that its just a message saying there's an update when there isn't iv had been worrying about that a long time ago when i found out all the mods where up-to-date and the launcher, although if your using rie's mini-map just go to the mini-map options usually the period(full-stop/dot) key or the ` key(dunno the name but its the button above tab there you will see the 'auto update' button, press that and it will update.

no its just loading but pretty slowly, how long did you wait? 30 minutes? also no expert help cant be given withought a error log(found in your case %appdata%[search that] then go to roaming then tekkit classic it should be there).

open technic launcher then open it again while it has the loading symbol or the 'technic' logo, that will force it to open. If that dosen't work then try running as admin those are the best solutions. other solutions is downloading it on another computer then putting on a usb to over-write the other launcher because sometimes it isn't downloaded properly.

If that didn't work just re-instal the launcher or install it on another computer then put it on a U.S.B. because sometimes it dosen't download correctly/fully on some systems(not exactly sure though) that or because your internet took too long to respond to the request and timed out where as on another computer there might be a stronger signal or something to do with your internet or your computer. also before you try that try to run the launcher as administrator, running in that mode 55% of the time fixes most problems.

May be because of my cruddy graphics carp being the reason but that's unlikely, i can run tribes ascend on full graphics with lil to no lag at all...except particles make the game lag A LOT although my graphs card is so bad i can't even run amnesia the dark decent let alone launch it also it isn't my possessor because that updates all the time and is very fast whereas my graphics card hasent updated for 3 years and i'v only had my laptop for 1 year, I tried all possible ways of updating it but non of them worked ALSO to make matters worse i can't replace my graphics card because its integrated.

searched all day yesterday but i found no working solutions to make it work also when i look at my launcher it said 'looking for updates' even know it just updated...to fix it i guess is to manually install each of the mods to the proper versions I wont try this, hate trying to manually install mods they never work/do anything or just screw up the minecraft folder itself.

just right click the zip and go to 'open program with...' then go to java (you may have to search for it in the 'brows files' button), once you make it always open using java instead of any .zip program then you can play...i had the same prob first time I downloaded technic launcher just look out for tekkit light and voltz...they don't work...no like when you open ether one it just stays as a white screen...always...white...currently trying to find a solution through the forums but currently nothing also im not a coding expert so i can't go into that regine.

I also waited 20-30 mins and it ony got to 200,000K of 700,000K so in other-words...if you RELLLLY wunt to play...you have to wait all day.(K as in kilobytes)

mine sorta freezes on the wight screen but loads at 10-20K/min...when it has to get to 700,000K just to get to the 'mojang' screen. also same not using mac...i think they screwed it up for non-mac users somehow...

the only way to delay that prob as much as you can is by going to the technic launcher settings and change the 'memory to allocate' number to the highest also while in game have settings on low/med depending on your computer/laptop also make sure you have it save every 2 seconds or 3mins just in case it dose crash you will have your saved data of that level of 2s/3mins ago DO NOT PUT IT ON 30 MIN's if it is THAT is the because of the crashing being that it is trying to save about 2-3 megs when the max is 1.5 megs so instead some items WILL be lost OR some blocks may be missing/non-existent, you can tell when its about to crash by the amount of lag that is being produced from NOTHING and im talking about ABSOLUTELY nothing that would be able to produce that much lag...IF that dosen't help then back up the save and re-download technic launcher OR clear your cache ALSO check the memory left on your computer if it is under 5 gigs then back up items to a disk/U.S.B to be-rid of them from your computer/laptop. If all ells fails then that means you need a new computer /laptop because the game is signifying you have a cruddy computer/laptop...or just upgrade you graphs card IF you can(remember some graphics cards are not compatible with some machines or other devices in your laptop/computer)...and yes i said be-rid. good luck! :J

at least got you got an error screen..mine dosen't even boot...even after 400,000+Kilobyte's it stays as a wight screen...so i gave up on volts..I tryed tekkit light...exact same...exept got to 100,000K till its just stopped...although both go up 10-20K...per...fricken...minute...meaning it would take a howl day JUST to get to the 'mojang' title being it requires 700,000K just to get there...although tekkit...classic works...but at least it isnt the best mod on tecknic luncher, yogbox.

well thing is its not my account its my brothers friends friends account so i dont know his e-mail so i cant do anything i asked my brother to tell him to try to fix it but he wont he said "its not yours anyway so just forget about it".

even if all the account details have been changed like the email,username and password? if still then how can i get my account back?

whoops i forgot that heh im too used to playing normal minecraft, only been playing technic launcher for bout a month now sins my premium account got hacked into and i didn't know that you could just play offline until one of my friends told me but sorry i couldn't help after all.
