RedPower Retriever not working

Alright, so I've got an item retrieving system set up like this, as test:

My only problem is that the Retriever in the middle over there won't retrieve my items. If I rotate it the wrong way and pull the lever, it seems to at least try to retrieve (The block's texture changes a little), but when it's rotated the right way, it does nothing. I have tried the same setup with a Filter right next to the chest, and that seems to work just fine. No idea why this doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Fixed, had to use /op [Redpower].
