A bit on topic, I think the internet gets people off track and only serves to exagerate the male ego.

My favorite portrayals of feminine strength usually include a realistic ideology that normally doesn't revolve around gender. A woman being a strong individual for the sake of others is different than one who is strong in the face of men. We're all people, and if I had to choose a captain of sorts I'd rather have the person who can make a decision rather than complain about how men are always forcing their opinions on her. Learned helplessness vs real strength.
