won't let me download any mod packs

It won't let me download any modpacks and keeps on coming up with error parsing platform response

Please can people tell me how to fix it!!!!!!!!!

Custom ones are "harder" to add to the launcher than the technic ones. The technic ones are the default ones on the launchers list, and include Attack of the B-team, Hack/Mine, Tekkit, etc. - Are you sure these are custom ones?
