Description of Problem:

Whenever I step into my world, I am swamped by cats. I get rid of them, build doors, turn around, and there are about 20 cats trying to get out of my house, they are coming from nowhere.

The only non Tekkit mods I have installed are Elemental Creepers MP 2.3 and Optifine HD

You seem to be playing Dwarf Fortress. You should play technic instead.

My guess is that it has something to do with elemental creepers. try ditching that first.

As for Elemental Creepers, I did a bit of research before adding to Tekkit and was told it shouldn't affect it, especially since it has no id?

I hope EC isnt the issue, as I love my cookie creepers..... but Ill try stripping that out first.

As an after thought.... can Technic be played multi? (Im quite new to this)

Im not sure who told you that it couldnt be EC because it has no item IDs, since the problem is with mob spawning, and that's the only thing you added that affects mob spawners.

No, for multiplayer you want Tekkit.

I ran Technic with the same mods installed and I dont have the issue atm.

So I suppose Ill just get rid of EC on Tekkit, At the end of the day, I would only be able to use EC with Tekkit if its a Tekkit server with the Mod, which I am supposing are few and far between.

Still wondering about this Dwarf Fortress though....
