Having some trouble with my tier 1 rocket

I built my tier 1 rocket today for the first time. I accidentally forgot to add my three chests in when creating the rocket ship in the nasa table. Now it has no storage. Is it too late to attach my chests to the rocket?

 

My first space expedition is going to suck now unless I build another one -.-

No one? I'm not taking off until I figure this stuff out. I would love a response from some one familiar with galacticraft.

No, there's no way to add more once you've created the rocket. For start, just make a backpack and put your stuff in there. And then later, you can make another one with storage. ^^ Hope this helped.

As the 'Inventory' of your rocket is not more than a simple chest, I recommend taking a strongbox with you anyways, as this is portable and not stuck where your rocket lands...

 

also, if the lander get's destroyed, you won't loose anything (happens easy when fireing the railgun at it)

 

Also you'll not be stuck long with the t1 rocket, as I think you'll work your way to craft a t2 rocket
