Death Chest?

Hello me and my friends recently started playing tekkit and I was wondering how can I install death chest mod? I opened up the .techniclauncher and went into tekkit then into mods and tried adding the death chest zip in there and it still doesn't work. I also tried a ton of other ways of installing it. Can anyone help me with this, me and my friends would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Well, not entirely sure but I'm guessing you would need to install it in the server folder... that's not in the appdata folder at all. it's just where ever you place it if you are running the server on your local PC. Then i don't know if that mods requires a matching client mod for smp.

I tried it in the server folder and it still didn't work.

Did you use the bukkit version?

You will likely need to extract it into the plugins folder (or you can manually extract it to your minecraft.jar found in your .minecraft folder.

Death Chest-- at least the one usually used on Tekkit servers-- is a bukkit plugin. Look around for it and just install it like any other plugin.
