Stop mocking me0 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 So I did some digging to find out how to do this, and found a thread here with a guy with a similar issue. Thankfully rcmaehl and Plowmanplow were able to solve his issue. rcmaehl, on 11 Feb 2014 - 8:43 PM, said: 1. Have you tested your modpack in singleplayer yet? If so, move on to #2. If not, test it. 2. Get the MCPC+ version for whatever minecraft version your mods require (e.g. the latest 1.6.4 MCPC+ if all your mods are 1.6.x) 3. Create a folder called server. 4. Put MCPC+ in that folder 5. Put a folder called mods in the folder called server 6. Put the mods in the mod folder 7. Start MCPC+ like you would start a minecraft server. 6a. Remove any "client only" mods like Damage Indicators, Waila, Custom Lan Ports, etc. 6b. Make a folder called "config" in the folder called "server". 6c. Copy the contents of your client "config" folder into the server "config" folder. 6d. Remove any config files for mods you removed in step 6a. The issue I have is: What do you mean "Start MCPC+ like you would start a minecraft server". I'm confused about that statement and I just want to make sure everything is working properly when I do this. The more details added the better. I use a mac OSx Yosemite.
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted February 27, 2015 Discord Moderator Posted February 27, 2015 MCPC+ (later known as Cauldron) is no longer available due to a DMCA takedown. You must either use Forge as your server JAR or find Cauldron from another source (other than these forums).
Stop mocking me0 Posted February 27, 2015 Author Posted February 27, 2015 (edited) I remember using forge as a Jar... It was terrible... Edited February 27, 2015 by Stop mocking me0
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted February 27, 2015 Discord Moderator Posted February 27, 2015 You really, really want to remove that link. Immediately.
Stop mocking me0 Posted February 27, 2015 Author Posted February 27, 2015 (edited) Not sure why that was an issue, but I'm assuming it's a legal matter. But why? Is it this site that's not OK with it, or is just flat-out illegal? Edited February 27, 2015 by Stop mocking me0
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted February 27, 2015 Discord Moderator Posted February 27, 2015 Posting links through this site to material removed though a DMCA notice exposes the operators to the same legal action.
Stop mocking me0 Posted February 27, 2015 Author Posted February 27, 2015 (edited) Ah, ok then, will not link anywhere! Didn't work anyways... Edited February 27, 2015 by Stop mocking me0
