Description of Problem:

When i load tekkit it whitescreens then says an error message bad video drivers it happens most of the time but every now and again it works and i can play tekkit i can also play normal minecraft p.s what is spoutcraft because it requires a lot of updates

Google chrome doesn't autoupdate your java. Give us your log and we might be able to see something.

It may auto update it's webstart java, but that's a different bit.

Use firefox and go and ACTUALLY update it, because you most definitely are not using the latest java. Google is lying to you. (coincidentally, they are also lying to you when they say that chromebooks are gonna be awesome.)

Yeah, you definitely need to update your drivers. how old is your machine? have you been able to play technic before? That error is saying that your card doesn't support a basic graphics process.

well i have played tekkit before on this computer because it used to be able to let me all the time untill i updated spoutcraft then it stoped working its an old computer but upgraded ill update my grapics now oh yeah is there a problem with minecraft i cant seem to load it up or download the yogbox

There may be an issue with your launcher. Redownload it and don't let spoutcraft update.

it's the program that the launcher was built off of. Just dont let it update if it prompts you and see if that changes anything.
