UI For Machines Turns White Ingame

Ive recently tried Tekkit with afew friends, but ive noticed the UI, then i right click a machine, can just turn white, making it nearly impossible to use.

Has this happened to anyone else, and how can I fix it?

EDIT: another question unrelelated to the question above, i cant seem to get windmills to work, i have them connected to a MFE with glass cables, but im not recieving any power at all.

Have experienced that bug a couple of times too. Just go into your texture packs option menu and then click done. The texture pack should reload and everything should be fine. At least it worked for me. Don't know about the windmills though... Maybe you put them too close together?

They are 4 blocks apart, and even when I just had one, I wasnt getting any power. The windmills are pretty high up, there should be wind.

Are you shure you've hooked the incoming powercables from the windmills to the MFE input? There is only one input on the MFE and five outputs.

Pretty sure it's the other way around. 5 inputs 1 output.
