FiscalBasilisk Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I was looking at starting up a Tekkit server, but when I downloaded the server files I noticed it's for Minecraft 1.6.4. I have an existing world made in 1.8 that I wanted to integrate as a multiverse world, so I was wondering if there was any version of Tekkit for a more recent version of Minecraft? It seems odd that it would be so outdated.
Moderators Munaus Posted May 22, 2015 Moderators Posted May 22, 2015 it's not odd. Look up how many mods are updated to 1.8 MC just to name a few: Galacticraft, Buildcraft and Minefactory Reloaded is for 1.7x
Moderators AetherPirate Posted May 22, 2015 Moderators Posted May 22, 2015 Tekkit has been 1.6.4 for quite some time. You'd be better off rolling your own 1.8 modpack. You'd need to check and see if the mods you are interested in have 1.8 versions first.
