List Different Modpack Versions

Does anybody know how to list different modpack versions? I've seen on the official modpacks you can choose a certain version. Does anybody know if this is possible for a member's custom modpack or if it is only for the official ones? If I can do this could somebody tell me how? (P.S. I use Dropbox if that makes a difference.)

i dont know much but i know that you would need to use solder.
