I decided to create my own modpack to start using instead of tekkit, in hopes of reducing lag. Originally I was playing tekkit with the tinker's construct mod added. A picture of my custom mods folder is attached to this. As I neared where my base and quarry was, the game crashed. I thought this could have been due to all of the water and empty space lagging out the game when it was trying to load the chunks, although using mcedit to fill it in with dirt did nothing. Please help as I really don't want to start over with this new modpack.

Crash report: http://paste.ubuntu.com/11784490/

UPDATE: I think it may have something to do with block id's not being the same as what they were set to in tekkit.

  • Which custom modpack have you created? Please provide an API URL or a link to the pack's details page.
  • Did you simply start with the Tekkit pack and add mods? If so, did you only change the item and block IDs of the new mods and none of the existing configs?

http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/jcraft-v110.682325 is my pack although it doesn't have any details on the page as it is a hidden pack that I will be using personally. The modpack.zip can be downloaded from https://www.dropbox.com/s/9lf363vhlorqe9u/modpack.zip?dl=1 . And as far as tekkit goes I just added tinker's construct to the mods folder and hadn't changed anything else.

UPDATE: I think it may have something to do with block id's not being the same as what they were set to in tekkit. It didn't crash once thermal expansion was removed from mods, although most blocks that were in mods now are different. For example all of my buildcraft pipes are gone and the alchemical chest is now some type of fuel block from ee3.
