HalestormXV Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 So I am thinking about settting up a cron to run sync; echo 3 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches right after the server shuts down for a restart and reboots itself. You think it is a good idea to do it like that or perhaps have it run at regular intervals a few times a day? I don't think dumping the caches while the server is running will cause any major issues correct? Quote
