Using any plugins? If so u gotta sort the fakeplayer, easiest way to do it is to do "/op [buildCraft]". That should sort basics of it

Im having the same problem, no one has answered my thread yet but i don't know why because the steam engines are used to activate the quarries and combustion but i used them both but they start to pump like they do but the frames are supposed to start joining into a massive cube frame but it isn't working. It maybe because im using different plugins that could affect it.

Plugins!

ChatManager

craftscripts

essentials

mcMMO

MineBackup

MobDisguise

ModifyWorld

PermissionsEX

PluginMetrics

TreeAssist

WorldEdit

If any of these plugins are to affect the quarry please let me know because the quarry is the best out of buildcraft and i really need it working for my project with my sister!

If this problem doesn't get sorted out i will downgrade for a bit until this is sorted

Make sure to make "op [buildcraft]" without quotes if you want your quarries to work.

Also OP, how in the ever-loving flying double fudgy fuck have you managed make two mistakes in a six-letters word?

In the olden days I remember having to build redstone clocks to power them. But that was like so long ago, I can't imagine this to be the solution.

Anyway, as for the problem at hand.

It needs bc power (I haven't used one in months so I am a bit rusty) so what I used to do was this - it may help you. If it doesn't then the solution is that you are screwed and may need a reinstall of everything.

Anyway. A quarry needs a designated area or it will pick it's own 9x9 zone. Once you place one, you should get some kind of 3d rectangle - unless - you designated an area and failed in placing the quarry at any corner point.

So, definitely tell us if you got some kind of yellow/black rectangle.

Then, it needs power. I usually took an energy link and placed it next to the quarry and hooked that up to my MFSU network. Time is money you see, move that drill.

As soon as I succeeded in powering it, it starts to build the orange structure. Confirm to us if you have an orange structure.

When the orange structure was there it would spout stuff, but that is beyond the scope of this.

And for science sake use a spell checker.

Wow, it works, thanks for your help!

It's nothing, I always help people who make a minimum of effort asking for it. Unlike a certain bertus.
