I just thought this was the version of your Tekkit, and the one for your server was maybe different. ^^ And the "impressive cunning" part was, I admit it, mostly made of sarcasm.

I _think_ this is caused because of your path. Try moving your tekkit server into your C drive and not calling it new folder.

Are you sure it extracted from the ZIP file ok or that the download completed properly?

All those "No MLProp..." should be the config files in the "config" folder.

Also, it would be easier if you posted a new, clean log to somewhere like pastebin.com and linked it here, then we'd have the whole thing to look at to see if something is going on before this

Interesting i think i understand what is causing it, your files are not being read. Or there not there to begin with your missing the .jar of almost all the mods. As well the obrefuscator is causing some serious issues on the scene as listed above i recommend removing it. Also check your firewall settings in case there are messing with things. Also how are you downloading the file? I have heard tales of .zips being downloaded incorrectly down to how the browser takes in the file. What you should be doing as you are local hosting this server, is getting the zip opening it with winrar/ 7 zip and extracting it to a premade folder on your desktop from there hit the launcher and your away. That is for a clean install i cannot think why it would mess up. Also i know you said you reinstalled java correct? Get a fresh one before you start the process. Could you get me some more info if this doesn't work this interests me. So more details = better solving the issue.

ok this is what i did.

Restarted my computer

closed everything out(no firewall, no AV, no nothing running at all, task bar had nothing in it except for sound thing and network thing and nvidia)(and yes i closed things running in backround also

uninstalled winrar

uninstalled java

restarted computer again

opened internet explorer 64 bit(i know IE )

downloaded java 7 update 5 64 bit and installed

downloaded and installed latest winrar 64 bit

downloaded tekkit 3.1.2 clean nothing added no plugins just a clean fresh copy, changed no settings, changed no properties, changed no configurations everything is at defaults

ran the server for first time after all that was done and get this

I don't understand you are missing files No file written that is the main message being gotten from this. For some reason you do not have all the files are they are being missed out or something? From what i have gathered that seems to be the issue its has errors it cannot load properly, you are missing files i don't know why. Maybe how your computer downloads the file? How Winrar extracts the file? Where the files are stored? But its apparent that you are missing files for some reason.

Actually, I have been having difficulties with 7zip not handling properly .rar files, whereas Winrar put them together correctly. That's why I have both on my computer.

Well, I don't know about others, but I have the habit of educating properly my software about what is good and what is bad, so I don't have such problems. For example, when I first installed VLC, I went through the hell of setting it as the default program for every single format. Windows Media was in a very bad mood this day.

and to get this right the issue is with the server files not the launcher, i have no problems with the launcher i can connect and player other tekkit servers np

The first ones are from my real server that i run normally, the second whens are from a clean new fresh download and first run for testing.
